Very thick
I use paper bags for household trash vs. plastic bags and just didn’t have enough bags from my regular shopping. These are very thick and sturdy bags — much thicker than the ones I get at the grocery. I will definitely reorder as needed. The quantity lasts me for quite awhile as I generally only use one bag per week in my small household.

Not very robust.
They are not real robust. You haveto be careful opening them up. I tried to move it quickly to fill it with air to expand it open, but they would tear near the top tearing. You have to manually open them carefully. I guess they are about like the ones you get at some grocery stores. Functional for short term light duty use.

DYI replacement for plastic bags
Our local grocery store here in Chicago has limited paper bags for groceries. Plastic bags are recommended, making paper bags with two handles curiosity items. So when I saw these paper bags of the same size as my grocery store handed out and with two handles, I bought them. They are perfect as trash liners in our kitchen, and are far superior to smaller plastic bags. And they are easier to lift out of the trash can and carry to the alley carts for disposal.

Using for recycling
I deliberately purchased this product for my recyclables. How I found it was my local department store uses this weight and style bad and I loved it. I searched and searched and found it! Perfect weight and size for my needs. Using a recyclable bag saves me a trip back into the house tho I have found I sometimes can use the bag for more than one fill. For those who are mildly obsessed with doing right by the planet and who also like neat, this is the way to go. No picture. It is a brown bag with paper handles. Love it.
