So much less “creatively taxing” (read: relaxing) than regular coloring
Great fun. There are endless ways to create with this book. I love that it’s watercolors, but printed on smooth paper: MUCH easier to ink that way (and easier on the pens). Another plus is that there are “florals” and “leaves” but there are also non-things: patterns to play with in a wide variety of color palettes and moods.I sent one to a friend too who seems to be enjoying it as well.

No mistakes art book. Brings out creativity and fun to do for 5 minutes or 2 hours while watching tv. Even easy to use while traveling. Your imagination are the limits. I bought more for Christmas stocking stuffers. Use any pencils or ink or gel pens to produce fun art.

This book is such a calming and enjoyable creative activity! I love that you can use different writing utensils such as fine liners, gel pens, markers, or even pencils, and each one gives a completely different look and experience. There’s no pressure to “get it right,” which makes it incredibly relaxing and easy to unwind with.The images and colors are peaceful and soothing, and the concept of drawing the lines yourself feels freeing rather than intimidating. This was very challenging and very rewarding. Initially I thought it’d be a breeze but I found I really had to think about the various forms of flowers and leaves and make it make sense with each colour splotch. I loved the challenge, it’s far more rewarding than colouring in. If you’re a little arty and enjoy keeping your brain active this would be a great book for you. Warning it is addictive!!!
