Happy I Found This Tent!
Purchased the 63 x 63 x 63 tent to use for our grandson’s baseball games. We have used it twice already during a cold, windy, rainy baseball tournament and I stayed warm and dry as well as my daughter and 16 month old granddaughter. It was very stable in 10-15 mph winds with the corners staked. We kept the doorway to the side and zipped and used the side window slightly unzipped to view the games. We closed the window completely during the rain and were still able to view the game through the clear plastic. It also made a perfect “containment” for my granddaughter and she enjoyed playing with her toys while staying warm and dry, since it has a floor also. We had several people stop by and ask us where we got it and what size it was. I gladly informed them of my Eighteen Tek Amazon purchase and quick delivery. It was very easy to put up. Since it is very sturdy it is a little difficult to fold up. It took two of us to get it folded and put into carrying bag. We knew how to fold it but just the size and sturdiness made it difficult. Also, it did take up the entire cargo area of a Subaru Forester, so keep in mind if you have a small cargo area when buying the larger sizes.

A good addition to wet weather gear
I’m pleased with this little pod. It sets up quickly and breaks down quickly, once you learn the technique. I really like that it has a water resistant floor. If I’m trying to stay mostly dry, I don’t want to be sitting on a wet surface. The zippers function well with three possible openings to help manage ventilation. There are two short, shock corded poles that criss-cross on the top that work well to push up the top into a dome shape and give a bit more head clearance. The construction seems to be solid. Time will tell. It has a pretty small footprint, so it doesn’t take up much space. I find it perfect for one person. Two could fit, I suppose. It would be tight quarters and likely someone would have to have a shoulder against the side of the pod. There are a few minuses, all of which are inherent in anything of this design, not just this Eighteen Tec model. It is not tall enough to stand up in, unless you are really short. Because of the sloping sides, if you open the flaps in any significant rain, the rain will come inside. That can’t be helped. If it were windy, I think it would be pretty unstable and need to be staked out at the corners at the minimum and better yet, secured with the included guy lines and stakes. That will increase the footprint significantly. Lastly, don’t expect this, or any others, to be as if looking through glass. Thick, flexible plastic is never going to be optically clear. That’s a given. And having this folded and stuffed puts all kinds of wrinkles in the plastic on top of that, so it is not a crystal clear view. That can’t be helped, I believe, and it seems to me that it is the nature of such an item, regardless of the manufacturer. It will work well for attending kids’ games, maybe a rainy parade, a drink on a cold day in the yard, bird watching, and who knows what else. In summary, I find it meets my expectations and will serve its purpose well for me. If you are considering such a pod, I would recommend it.

Nice, but some issues with rain
Tent went up easy and is a nice little space, but it does not do super well in rain. The cover is good at keeping leaks from the top, but since the walls curve inward at the bottom and the whole bottom below the door/windows is a fabric/vinyl material the water drains inward. I had floor cushions inside that got ruined first rain, so would definitely only recommend furniture that doesn’t have fabric touching the floor. I got this as an outdoor hang out spot for the winter so I’m a little disappointed to have to figure out how to make it work now, but it does seem like it would be great for sporting events and other temporary use scenarios.

Great Bubble Tent for Midwest winters!
This is a great bubble tent. We live in the country in the Midwest and love sitting outside all year watching the deer. We put this up for the winter season and stay so warm with a small heater. We can sit out in any weather and can see perfectly. Comfortable to two people with a heater and small table.

Solar Warmth at its Best. Endless Summer at the Beach
This pop-up is perfect for being out in the sun when it is cold out. The picture was taken in March, when it was about 50 degrees outside in Wildwood NJ. Inside the “bubble”, it was so warm I needed to take off my shirt. It comfortably fits two people, and is pretty sturdy. It held up to a stiff breeze by using the enclosed anchors. It is well-constructed, and easy to both put up and take down. Customer service was great, as I broke one of the top fiberglass inserts by not first removing it from the tent before folding it back up, and they replaced the set of two for me. To take it down, first remove the two top supports, then fold the tent in half, then twist it so that it takes up a quarter of the space. It fits nicely in the round carry bag. Looking forward to bringing this back onto the beach this winter to enjoy eating a pizza and having a glass of wine in front of the waves. Next time, I may need to bring a pair of shorts!

Won’t go back in carrying case without breaking the frame work.
You can not get it folded as per directions to go in carrying bag. I have the 83″ large model and the thing will not fold as small as it was when it came. They need to be more specific on how to fold it in there directions. I know it was smaller when I got it but it came unfolded so fast I have no way of knowing how to get it that small again. When I try to fold it as per video on web site I get a cracking sound like it is breaking the frame. The black strap. is not long enough after unfolding it the first time to get it to go around the frame work in the X design to try to shrink the frame to go in the bag. I’m sure I’m not the first to experience this. For 250.00 you would think it would fold easier so that it can be transported to and from event’s that I purchased it for.

Bought this thing to allow us to enjoy the outdoors specially sports events in the winter/ autumn rain.Total waste of money! The structure is too unstable and mine came with a broken or a faulty floor pole from the start that it wouldn’t hold on the first fold up. The PVC quality is horrible! Nothing is visible from it. Naturally I am requesting a refund but not sure if they will take it in the bag or need the original box which (with such VERY poor quality) is impossible to pack this thing back in. Not fit for use by any means!

Wish it was a little bigger… So I could lay in it.. But will serve its purpose…

This is just perfect for mum & I to keep the draughts off us on chilly days. Well made, so easy to put up. Love the separate groundsheet & once the ropes & pegs are in place, the shelter feels very secure. Not used the sandbags as it’s in a very sheltered part of the garden – maybe for in the winter. Considering the product was shipped from America, it arrived an impressive week early. Absolutely delighted 😃
