What purpose does vinegar serve?
From what I understand, vinegar is acidic. The acids work well to break down grease and other food debris that would be splattered on the walls of the microwave. This makes cleaning much easier!
Does it use Vinegar or Lemon juice?
Both vinegar and lemon juice can be.
How much water and lemon juice is needed for angry mama to be effective? what are the amounts? thanks!
The instructions call for white vinegar and water. There is a line to fill up to with the vinegar. I’m guessing 2/3 of a cup of vinegar.
Does it work?
Yes I think so. The steam with the vinegar created loosens any splatters and you only need to wipe away with a damp cloth. No caustic cleaner where we put our food.

WORKS GREAT! NO CLEANING SPRAY NEEDED! IT WIPES SLARKLING CLEAN!
I didnt use a single drop of cleaner/cleaning spray, etc. I just simply filled it to the fill line with water (I would’ve tried out the vinegar/water mixture, like it directs you to do, but I was in a rush, and only had water at the time). That being said, the fact that these little gadgets were able to DEEP CLEAN my microwave and with absolutely NO scrubbing needed at all, is SUPER IMPRESSIVE! Literally just wiped all of food in which was stuck on my microwave before heating up angry mama for 7 minutes and letting it set for an additional 2 minutes afterward (which I recommend, so you dont risk burning yourself. It’s not hit enough to burn you and hurt you, or at least didnt hurt or burn me, but again I left mine in there to sit for an additional 2 minutes, after heating the water up for 7 minutes.) These things are amazing and I’m so happy that I ordered the two pack because this is super handy for me to use at work and makes my job 100 times easier!! I’m an industrial building, office, etc. Cleaner. So, being able to pop these bad boys in the microwaves while I’m cleaning is so helpful in many ways. Mostly, because before these awesome gadgets that I’m so lucky and happy to have, I was spraying the heck out of the microwaves, and scrubbing them top to bottom until I felt like my arms were going to fall off from being so worn out after doing this 2 or however many microwaves I had to clean at a time. Now, not only is it effortless and save me a lot of hard work & frustration, and save me a lot of time, but I can ALSO get 2 microwaves done at once instead of having to do one at a time and no longer have to worry about taking a half an hour on each microwave or work half as hard ever again! So happy with my Angry Mamas! Such a cool and super cute gadget but mostly, IT’S GENIUS!!

This little angry mama is of great quality. It saves time and energy from not having to scrub so hard. Be careful though because it does get hot.

Once I had everything I needed to use it properly, it worked great! Got the microwave good and clean, made it so much easier to clean the cooked on ick. Mind you, I had to have both the vinegar AND the lemon juice. Just the vinegar and it makes the whole house smell like boiling vinegar. MUCH better smelling with the lemon. Design is interesting, but it looks adorable. Seems pretty durable so far.Fair warning, the first time I used it (without the lemon), it made the most horrific screeching sound in the microwave. Subsequent uses have not had the same reaction.Overall, definitely worth it

Fun product
I bought this on a lark as a gag gift only to come back and but it again for myself. It is little hard to open the first time, so hard that it is mentioned in the instructions. It is easy to open after the first time and cleans up easily. If you are like me, forever since I last cleaned my microwave, you may need to use it a couple of times to get it as clean as you want.

Fun Novelty, but doesn’t work all that well.
When I worked as a clerk for a convenience store, customers would blow up burritos or have similar accidents and leave them behind for me to clean. The official process was to microwave our large, damp rag for one minute to melt grease and loosen the sticky mess. This process worked well only as long as we cleaned every hour or so.The Angry Mamas are a fun novelty but do not work any better than the wet rag. A few years ago, my wife tried these. She broke the first one in a struggle to remove the top. She used the second one but didn’t like the boiling vinegar stinking up the house. Forgetting the past, I just tried these again. The top is hard to remove, but the instructions explain how to do it without breaking it. I mixed the vinegar with the water according to the instructions and zapped for seven minutes. The tiny figure sat there fuming with her hands on her hips, but the microwave wasn’t any cleaner. All of the month-old, caked-on, baked-on stains remained as they were.This novelty product probably works IF you use it daily, but it doesn’t work any better than a hot, steamy rag.

So, ich war ja wirklich skeptisch ob das klappt aber ich muss meine Meinung ändern. Wir haben unsere Mikrowelle sehr stiefmütterlich behandelt und nur sauber gemacht wenn wir Lust hatten. Seien wir mal ehrlich, das Ding soll Essen warm machen und gut. Nun hab ich gedacht mach sie mal sauber. Mit Hausmitteln wie Mehrzweckreiniger, Fettlöser, Spülmittel hat das nicht funktioniert. Aber mit dem Mikrowellen Reiniger hier funktionierte das einfach, super und schnell. Bin sehr begeistert und unseren Mikrowell ist nun wirklich von Innen wieder blitzeblank. Kann den Reiniger absolut weiterempfehlen.
