Amazon grocery delivery can save money, time,
I ordered these again, just to be sure the first home run wasn’t a fluke. IT WAS JUST AS GREAT AS THE FIRST BATCH. I don’t know where they are getting these but I have three major chain groceries close by and not one of them managed to offer ripe grapes two weeks in a row. Half the time, they deliver green fruit that never ripens properly.Whatever Amazon is doing works in my area (San Diego suburb). Even something as mundane as big label cookies have been fresh, fast and just as described. I look forward to a major improvement in car costs from not having to drive so much. I thought home delivery was just an indulgence. It’s not. It’s a way to save time and energy. Oh, it saves money too.

What do you think of when you hear the words, “red table grapes?” Well, I’ll tell you what I think. Red table grapes are the rejects of the office fruit platter. They are all that is leftover in the break room at 6 PM on Friday, along with the now salsa-less off brand corn chips and wilted, sad vegan sandwiches. Frankly, red table grapes are just not good. Even at their very best, all they can strive to become is “not unacceptably bad.”These are not ordinary red table grapes.They are labeled as such, but they aren’t at all like the ones you find in most grocery stores. I don’t know exactly what varietal these are, but they are similar to candy heart grapes in terms of size and flavor. They are floral, fruity, and flavor forward in a way that is nore reminiscent of eating a gumdrop than a grape. They are notably sweeter than the average grape as well. Their texture is initially crisp upon breaking the skin, followed by a soft and juicy but still well formed gelatinous center. In comparison, ordinary red table grapes feel somewhat mushy or fragile, and since these are readily available at a reasonable price, I do not want to go back to eating inferior grapes. Ever.Now, are these grapes small compared to other red table grapes? Yes. Very much so. But I thought we all collectively decided that size doesn’t matter.Don’t buy inferior grapes. Buy these.
