A Fun Little Craft Project for A Creative Afternoon
This craft kit turned out to be a really fun little project to do together with a young kid. We used it with a 4-year-old and it kept her attention much longer than most craft kits do. The process of mixing the plaster, pouring it into the molds, and then painting the finished vases made it feel like a real “from start to finish” project rather than just decorating something that’s already made. The kit comes with everything needed to make three small plaster vases, including the powder, molds, paint, markers, mixing sticks, and even gloves. The instructions were simple enough to follow, though an adult definitely needs to help with the plaster mixing and pouring step. Once the vases were dry, the painting part was her favorite. The paints and markers were easy to use and it was fun seeing how different each little vase turned out. After decorating, the kit includes paper flowers and a display stand so the finished vases can actually be used and shown off. That part was a nice touch because it gives kids something to do with their finished creations instead of the craft just being over once the painting is done. This is a good pick for a creative afternoon with a younger child. It’s hands-on, a little messy in a good way, and feels more involved than typical coloring crafts. As long as an adult helps with the plaster step, even a 4-year-old can participate and enjoy the whole process. For the amount of activities included and the fact that you get three separate projects out of it, the value feels reasonable.

Fun and unique craft for kids and grownups
This is such a fun and unique craft! The stand was easy to put together and sturdy, and the mini vases fit perfectly. We discovered part way through the process that the plaster part of the project wasn’t ideal for my almost 4 year old (not surprising). Setting the stand up and mixing/pouring the plaster is easy but not something she could do independently. However, she had a lot of fun with the coloring part and arranging them on the cute stand it comes with.I’m surprised it’s listed as being for ages 3-8, because this would be ideal for older kids and adults too. My daughter, who is now four, could definitely do everything with a little help, but I’d say this could only be done independently by an older kid or adult. Since there are a number of vases to make, this would be perfect for a craft night with a group of friends or to give away as little gifts.Given the quality and how cute this is, I’d say it’s a great value for the cost.

So much fun
My grand daughter and I thoroughly enjoying doing this Crelloci DIY Mini Plaster Vase kit together. It’s a great kit with everything included. The instructions are clear and easy to follow. We had a nice morning making these and spending time together. Low price point. Great gift idea. We now have nice little decorations that we made together forever. Great bonding experience. With proper supervision, any child from about 4 and up can do this.

Cute, Simple, and Fun Craft Kit for Little Girls
Cute, Simple, and Fun Craft Kit for Little GirlsThis little girls plaster vase making kit is absolutely adorable and very easy to use. The kit comes with paper flowers that fit perfectly into the vase base—one flower at a time—which makes it simple for small hands to handle and arrange. The project is straightforward and not messy, making it great for younger kids. The paint markers included are easy to use and vibrant, allowing kids to decorate the vase however they like. I also loved that it comes with a polished varnish for the base, which gives the finished vase a nice shine and helps protect their artwork.Overall, this is a fun, creative, and stress-free craft that kids can complete mostly on their own. A great activity for playdates, rainy days, or as a gift! 🎨🌸

All ages!
My 10-year-old helped me try this kit. I have had fun helping him out with it. It would be a great gift for both boys and girls between the ages of 7-11. My son wasn’t as excited as I was about this project at first, though.Once we had it all set up, I poured the plaster, water, and the mixture the first few times. It’s an easy enough process that my nearly 11-year-old could have done it himself with some gloves and maybe a facial mask.I created a demo video for it that I will be editing and adding to my page by the time this review is uploaded, if anyone wants to see the vase-making process in action. The kit came with everything pictured. The plaster recipe is easy to follow and do. Once poured, I let our plaster set for about 24-48 hours before removing it from the molds for the best results.I had a set of acrylic paints to go with the included paint markers, because I wasn’t sure if they would work. We ended up preferring the double-sided paints that came with the kit versus the extra paints I had purchased. Why? Because the paint markers dry faster than the average acrylic paint, and won’t be as messy. They’re also easier to use. I applied the varnish to the almost dry paint, and it hardly smudged. The hardest part was honestly putting together the flower shelf. It kept falling apart as we followed the instructions and pieced it together. I considered hot gluing it together before finding a better solution to our problem: it is easier to lay the shelf down, insert a side panel, and then work our way up before adding the second side panel, finalizing the process. I haven’t wanted to break the flower shelf back down until we’ve used all of the plaster, because it will be a hassle to put it back together. The cut-out pieces should be more accurate to help with placement.Sometimes the mixture makes more than what is called for, so we pour the excess into another mold. It is mixed at about a 1:1.25 ratio. That said, if you use too much water, the plaster will eventually settle and begin to cure, and the water can be poured out so that it dries faster. My son loves Zelda and has been painting some of the vases for “Hy-Rule” so he can take them outside to smash; not the nice ones though. We have had fun using this kit, and I like the extra paint markers now added to our homeschooling supplies. These are the cutest little keepsakes. We are glad we are doing this project together and trying out this kit! For a little guy who didn’t want to try this at first, he ended up asking to do it again. I am impressed!

My girls and I really enjoy this craft kit during our craft time. It’s fun to paint and arrange the flowers. We had a good time making them together.
