An unexpectedly great pair of flip flops!
I didn’t expect much out of these because of their price and the fact that they’re a cheap non-brand. But that’s OK; flip flops are usually a “grab whatever’s cheap” kind of purchase for me anyway, and they all kind of land in the same category, which is to say they’re fine for short walks, but not great for anything beyond that.You’ll be pleased to know that these have exceeded my expectations on just about every level.Right out of the box, I noticed that these things feel incredibly substantial. You might think that’s kind of a bad thing for a pair of flip flops, but it’s absolutely not. They’re just more built than what I’m used to. The footbed has real cushioning, but it’s not that squishy foam that bottoms out after a few steps. There’s some structure underfoot, and you notice it pretty quickly once you’re walking around.Speaking of which, I was really surprised to note how supportive they feel. These actually feel closer to a lightweight shoe than a typical sandal. There’s a legit arch there, and it makes a difference if you’re on your feet for a while. I’ve got a couple pairs from brands like Olukai and even an older pair of Birkenstock-style sandals, and these hang right in that same conversation from a comfort standpoint, which I wasn’t expecting at all.The adjustable strap is a nice touch too. I’ve got kind of a middle-of-the-road foot, not narrow, not wide, and I was able to dial these in so they sit where they should without feeling sloppy or too tight. Once they’re set, you can just slip them on and go.They also handle water better than most. I wore them around the yard after watering, and later over to the pool, and they dried out pretty quickly. The traction is solid too.Love these things! Definitely recommend.

Comfortable with Good Support, but Size Up
I picked up these flip flops looking for something that could handle casual wear, quick trips outside, and potentially longer periods of walking without the usual flat, unsupportive feel you get from standard sandals. The materials also seem appropriate for water use, and they dry fairly quickly after getting wet.That said, sizing is something to pay attention to. They do run a bit small. I am typically a men’s size 8, and the size 9 just barely works for me. If you are between sizes or prefer a more relaxed fit, I would recommend sizing up.In terms of use, these are a good option for casual wear, light outdoor activity, or around the pool or beach. They offer more support than basic flip flops, which makes them more versatile.Overall, a solid pair with good comfort and support, just be mindful of the sizing when ordering.
