Still the Best Diaper Pail Out There – Just Know You’ll Empty It More Often Over Time
We’ve been using the Ubbi Steel Diaper Pail since our daughter was a newborn—she’s now 16 months old. Around 14 months, we actually bought a second one and replaced our original. Not because it broke, but because we hoped a fresh start might help with odor control now that she’s eating solids and having more frequent bowel movements.What I’ve come to realize is that it’s not the diaper pail—it’s just the reality of toddler diapers. When she was younger, we could go 2-3 days without emptying it. Now, we really need to empty it daily or every other day to keep odors in check. That’s just part of the phase.Even with that, the Ubbi is excellent. The steel construction does a much better job of locking in odors compared to plastic pails we’ve tried, and the fact that you can use regular kitchen trash bags is a huge plus—no overpriced refill bags required. I’ve also started putting a small baking soda air freshener at the bottom of the pail, and that’s helped a bit too.After about a year of use with the first pail, I did notice a couple of subtle dents and a small rust mark on the exterior, but nothing that affected performance. Clearly, that didn’t stop me from buying another one!If you’re looking for a diaper pail that’s efficient, easy to use, and looks nice in the nursery, this one is still my go-to.

There is no odor!!! Excellent!
I purchased 2 these are everything they say NO ODOR ! They work well for little donkey pee pads any kind of pee. I highly recommend them.

It gets smelly
Great diaper pail, with one exception. It gets smelly.Look, it’s a good pail, it’s does great to contain the smell. Seriously, no smells, until you change the bag. But you can’t get rid of the smell from the pail.If you buy this and want to keep it for more than 1 baby, love yourself and get the small disposable bags so you end up double wrapping diapers… learn to wrap every diaper with a small bag, and toss them. Don’t put dirty diapers just in the one big bag of this pail.The individual bags reduces humidity in the pail, and reduces the opportunity for smells to get into places you can’t get it out of… Protect this investment, and buy the small trash bags for diapers.

Truly Contains the stench
A lot of people will say you don’t need a diaper pale and to just throw away the dirty diapers in your normal trash but for our family i disagree. We only take our trash out maybe twice a week and after just a day or 2 the dirty diapers start to get raunchy. Here comes the uber diaper pale which for now I’ve only had to empty once a week and I know for sure that it does keep all the odor locked in because when i open it up it hits me right in the face. We picked the ubbi because we didn’t want to have to buy special bags for something like a diaper genie and we love our ubbi. For those whos lifestyle a diaper pale fits I highly recommend the ubbi it locks in the odor and is super easy to clean

This diaper pail came recommended and I thought spending more the $100 on a diaper pail was ridiculous. This pail blocks odour like nobody’s business, and using regular garbage bags makes it simple! It is easy to slide the lid open with one hand, and the locking feature is nice (although we don’t always lock it). Our dog has zero interest in the diapers in the pail.The first Ubbi I received was dented, but Amazon customer service was fantastic and sent a new one.
