Trimming Tip
Hold the paw firmly while trimming the nails. Use a single stroke to cut off the top of the nail quickly.Sure the handle at the bottom of the file makes the nail smooth.Avoid cutting off too much at once. If your pet’s nails are long, trim a small amount and wait about a week to ten days before trimming again. Repeat this process every week or ten days until the nails reach the desired length.Cut perpendicular to the nail, avoiding extreme angles and staying away from the quick.

Works like a charm!
These are great quality! They are sharp which helps for quick cuts and the light is so helpful! Now I just wish my dog would hold still longer🫠 my in-laws even got one now for their dogs! Obviously if they are jet black nails its still pretty hard to see but definitely helps.

Solid clippers and the light makes all the difference in the world
These are very nice. I always hate putting my dogs nails because of accidentally cutting too far one time. So every time I cut I cringe hoping I don’t hurt my animal.The light on these clippers is fantastic. It’s really a game changer. I have dogs with light colored nails and darker gray nails and the light works great on them. I do not have dogs with black nails but I can definitely tell you these work great.The quality is excellent and they are very simple to use. The grip is very secure won’t slip at all. Overall these are great value for the money you pay for them. And if you’re not currently using a light and I’m sure your animal will love you for buying these.

Light doesn’t show through black nails
This would be fine for cats or dogs with clear nails. I purchased this product because of the light which I thought would illuminate the quick in my dogs nails but it doesn’t. They’re still well made and the light is helpful to see. The depth guard is not adjustable so there’s a fixed length that you can clip each time but that works as a good safeguard if you have a squirmy animal.

These LED dog nail clippers with a light work extremely well the light illuminate so that you can see the bloodline in lighter skinned nails. It also has a bumper, a metal shield that stops the nail before you clip it so you can only clip so much of the nail. This helps to eliminate the problem of clipping the nails too short and causing your dog to bleed these clippers worked very well on dogs of all sizes. We have two German shepherds one male one female. The clippers work on both dogs without any issue. They are easy to grip. They are easy to use. They leave a good clean cut with no sharp edges on the nail. These clippers are a good value for the money.

Don’t recommend for dogs over 20lbs
So let me start off with, the light my fav! My girl has mixed color nails, super helpful. The feel, ugh it’s nice and lightweight. No grip except a slight curve. That file, hope you have STRONGGG finger tips, or you’ll be subject to a game of war whilst trying not to chip your own nails. At least that file won’t fall out easily+++.Now let’s start with my negative. I thought these were SHARP, as the advert stated. How ever the sharp doesn’t matter if the equipment is strung a tad better. My doggo has medium-very semi thick nails. Whelp. My baby’s nail broke bc it was twisted in the blades. Now she, after 11years of manicures from me, no longer trusts my skills. I soon fear she may put ME out to pasture. I am pretty upset that I lost her last pair (great pair, lasted her and I years), I will not throw them away bc i feel they have potential with a screwdriver or something.

Great for giant breeds
Giant dog approved! One never been able to make it through a full nail trim with my gray pyrenees, who hates his feet being messed with. I’ve gone through two other nail clippers, one that splintered his nails and the other couldn’t even fit his nails in the cutter. This one fit perfectly and was very sharp. Pyrenees nails are like concrete, but these clippers did the job in record time, and he wasn’t as upset with me as other nail trim attempts (see pics for size comparison of pyr nails and clipper). The light was super helpful for his white/clear nails but not so much the dark ones (it did help me see the average length of the quick though so it was helpful even for black nails). Very very good value for the money. I’m not sure how long they will last against his concrete nails but so far, amazing purchase. Felt good in the hands and there is a safety guard but I didn’t need to use it. You can also see it’s a cleaner cut in pic.

Excellent sharp trimmers for dogs
I finally found a perfect pair of nail clippers for my dogs. I have two large ones at 80 pounds and two small ones at 11 pounds works perfect doesn’t shred the nail high-quality and sharp. Highly recommend this for your animal needs.

I use these on my chocolate lab and they work really well. They’re easy to handle and not difficult to press together when trimming, which makes the whole process feel much more controlled.The blades are nice and sharp and cut cleanly, and the safety guard is really helpful for making sure I don’t take too much off. That gives a bit of extra confidence, especially if you’re worried about overcutting.There is a light built in, which is a good idea, although with darker nails it doesn’t show the bloodline as clearly as it probably would on lighter nails. That said, it’s still a useful feature to have.Overall, I’m very happy with the purchase. It feels safe, sturdy and does the job well.
