In 2006, I work for a famous HK listed company.In an inventory ,Archives Department throw the old documents or the useless manuscripts to the bin directly , without any special handle .There may be a potential risk of leakage when these documents or manuscripts are recycled. So in order to solve such problems , we start our paper shredder business .

This is a great in-home use paper shredder
I’m very pleased with this paper shredder. While it is not a heavy duty shredder, it is completely workable with what I’ve got which is junk mail coming out my ears that I can’t just throw in the garbage. It’s a great size it’s not super heavy, I love that there’s a window that tells you how full the receptacle for the paper is and I’m just very happy that I bought this. I feel safer knowing that my personal documents are not just out there in the garbage for anyone to see.

The little shredder that could
This is an awesome and powerful shredder. I did not expect it to shred so well but it does. I had an older expensive one that broke on me and needed a new one quick and so I make a quick purchase and am happy with my purchase. This is a great little shredder. I also like that the card shredder is separated from the paper shredder. I constantly had issues in my last shredder of cards getting jammed and the paper shredder wouldn’t work so it’s great they are separate now.

Using it for 2 years now! Still works!
Bought this in 2024. It works well with printer paper. I don’t do 10 pages at once, I try to do pages in 3s or 5s. I’m still using it! I’ve recently tried it with old cards (credit cards, debit cards) but check the shredder bin because some of the cards can’t be shredded completely so just take it out and cut it manually. I give it a max of 30 minutes per use of continuous shredding so I don’t overheat the machine. Solid purchase overall for mails and paper documents you want to shred.

No good
This shredder has not functioned well from the start — it pulls paper in crookedly causing it to jam a lot. This happens whether shredding 1 page or 8 pages. Eventually, it stopped pulling in paper in at all except for a 3″ width in the middle of the feed. It frequently would not turn off after shredding requiring that it be turned off manually (unless you really like the sound of the motor running perpetually). I am trashing it after less than 2 years of use and many incidences of frustration. Just not worth the time it takes to constantly un-jam it, manually pull shreds through, or try to dislodge half-shredded, stuck documents.Also, the shred is so wide that you can still decipher identifying information from the document after its been “shredded.”

It didn’t shred as many pages at a time as described without an issue. I never used it near any heat. It seemed like it made an average amount of noise. It jammed up and wasn’t easy to clear. I used it approximately 5 times and it stopped working. Wouldn’t recommend.
