Not new or free, but what a smart concept! The unused roll is very compact and stores easily. It goes a long way, and can be re-used. I love that the degree of ‘waffle’ can be adjusted to provide ‘just right’ cushioning in the right places. In my experience, small items required only one layer, although for extra safety, I double-wrap larger or irregularly-shaped items.I have used this to pack my pottery for storage and shipping to points of sale. It is also a nicer presentation for gifting, vs. crumpled brown or newspaper.
