Easy to use rotating curler with a bit of a learning curve for shorter hair.
I haven’t curled my hair much in the last twenty years, mostly because it’s time-consuming. I have seen rotating curling wands before but I wasn’t sure if they would work on my shorter (barely shoulder length) hair, but I took a chance and gave this curling wand a try.This is about the same length as a traditional curling iron, but heavier and noticeably wider. Despite this, it is still easy to hold and use. The quick start guide was enough to get me started, and the controls are easy to navigate. There is a lock switch at the bottom that needs to be turned on first, which is a great safety feature since the wand can’t be accidentally turned on when this is turned off. The power button is at the bottom. You long press to turn it on, then short presses to set the curl timer. Above that is the temperature control, and the two top buttons control curl direction. Once your hair is in the chamber, you just choose a curl direction, press that button, and the curling process starts.I do think there is a learning curve for this wand, but fortunately I was fairly proficient by the end of my first session. My hair is in a longer bob style with different density in the front and back, so I had to figure out some tricks to help myself. For one, my front area is thinner, and I found that I didn’t need as much heat or time on this area, so I adjusted accordingly. My back is the exact opposite, and I increased the heat and the time because this area is thicker and resists curling more.One thing I noticed is that shorter hair makes the back a little harder to work with. There just isn’t as much length to grab, so getting the curler positioned back there takes a bit more effort. Placing the wand higher gave me tighter curls, so I inserted my hair about halfway down the section for looser curls. My techniques may not work for everyone, so I recommend experimenting. I used a heat protectant lotion in my hair, and the curls started to loosen at around two hours without setting spray.I do not think this curling wand takes less time than traditional irons, but the process to me is easier. I don’t have to position an iron at a specific angle, because I just press a button and adjust as needed. I can choose the temperature and curl time, so the settings do the work for me. In addition, this does not feel hot at all. Overall, this is a fair value considering the technology and results.

Perfect cordless curling iron for women with thinning, limp hair
I have thin, longer hair, and most curling tools either don’t grab my hair well or leave me with pathetic uneven curls that fall out in an hour. This one surprised me in a good way.The one‑button thing is actually as simple as it sounds. I tried to make it harder than it actually is. So if you will read the directions before you try and use it, you shouldn’t have any issues. You press the button, it pulls the hair in smoothly, and you’re curling left or right without having to think about it. The 360° rotating barrel makes everything feel really controlled, no bending the wrists at all and for me that’s huge. I broke my wrist a couple of years ago and it still bothers me, so having this to make my curls is really nice. And the memory mode is a nice touch. I didn’t realize how much time I waste re‑setting heat and timer settings until I didn’t have too anymore.The anti‑tangle sensor is the best invention ever. My hair is fine enough that it loves to wrap itself into knots, but this thing stops and reverses before anything scary happens. I never felt like my hair was in danger, which is not something I can say about every automatic curler I’ve tried. And since I am older, my hair is already thinning, I can’t afford to lose any more.The digital display is super clear, and the voice prompts are surprisingly helpful instead of annoying. I used the middle heat setting (185°C) and the 10‑second timer, and it gave me soft, bouncy curls that lasted without causing any damage. The ceramic barrel and all those ions definitely help, my hair looked shinier than usual and not frizzy at all. I had always thought it was a bunch of hype, but I’m a believer now.The battery life lasts longer than I need it to. I got a full head of curls with power to spare, and I love that it goes into sleep mode if I forget about it. Trust me, as a senior, I can walk out of the room for a minute and *Poof*… I totally forget everything. The auto-off is a very important safety feature.Overall, this is one of the most beginner‑friendly, low‑stress, safest curling iron I’ve used. If you have thin, medium‑to‑long hair and want easy curls without tangles or guesswork, this one really does the job.

Curls well
I naturally have somewhat curly to wavy hair but love the way spiral curls look so I keep a curling iron for special occasions. I generally like the old fashioned type over a few newer types and admittedly was a bit scared to use this but liked what I had read about it so I gave it a go, especially since I got this brands hair dryer and neck massager and was impressed with the quality of their items. After reading the instructions and watching a video I was ready to get curling. It came charged to 70% so I charged it up to 100%. I parted my hair and started at 365 for 12 seconds. I learned on the first piece that you don’t want to put too much hair in it at once because it jammed immediately. I mildly panicked but it stopped itself and if you press the direction button it will stop immediately. I did the other side at 410 for 10 seconds to see which curls held better. After 8 hours, both sides still looked good and had not fallen out so I will go with the lower temperature. The battery lasted just long enough to curl all of my hair but I plugged it in to redo a few. I did notice that it pulled out a few hairs that got stuck while it was spinning but nothing more than when I brush it. I would say that the quality of this curler is excellent and it is now my new favorite curler and the only reason I knocked off a star was the battery life. It would be nice if it lasted a bit longer because it takes so long to charge it and you can’t use it while it is charging/plugged in.
