Great purchase for a puppy
This was a game-changer for our dog as a fresh puppy. If your puppy is adjusting to the kennel when you first get him, being away from his mom and siblings, you need this. The first night we brought our puppy home, he cried and cried all night in the kennel. We bought this for him the next couple nights and he was calm and slept. It took the stress and anxiety of being in a new place away from him. It even has a an insert that imitates a heart beat and you can warm it up so imitate a beating heart and warmth. This was well worth the money in my opinion. I think it would do well for any dog that had anxiety being alone or in the crate.

Wish I ordered before puppy was picked up!
After dealing with a whining puppy at night for 3 weeks, finally bit the bullet and bought this. I absolutely wish I would have had it prior to puppy pick up. I’m not kidding when I say the first night, and every night after, he did not whine at all once having this in his crate. It provides the perfect comfort of missing sleeping with siblings, and soothing heart beat of what they hear when we hold them, that it made our nighttime routine 100x better. Would recommend for anyone with a puppy or having a hard time sleeping at night. It’s super soft and the perfect size. Heartbeat battery lasts a long time.

Got us through the first night
I got my puppy yesterday and this is, so far, the best thing I purchased. He wrestles with it and sleeps against it. He slept through the night which I totally did not expect. The toy is bigger than he is and that make the whole thing just that much cuter. I have a feeling I will be going through a lot of batteries but I think it’s completely worth it.The toy is soft and so far has taken the little guys teeth with no tearing. I’ll update further if he manages to rip it open or anythingUpdate: No tearing and I did put in a hand warmer overnight to see how that worked. It made the toy warm enough to the touch to be comforting but not too hot. I’m not sure my puppy noticed or cared and I haven’t done it since. He loves to wrestle with this and sleeps next to or on top of it whenever it’s nap time.Update May 2017 — He loves this toy, he still sleeps with it every night. It hasn’t had a heartbeat or the warmer in years but it is still his go to sleep toy. It goes with him to boarding and on every trip. He still has the original stuffy though it doesn’t have ears or eyes anymore. I had to wash it once due to an explosion in the crate, with a lot of bleach, and it fared very well. He wasn’t sure about it for a few days as it didn’t smell right anymore, but he soon fell in love with it again. Im very impressed with the quality as this has lasted three plus years of pretty constant mauling.Five Year Update: He still loves this toy. I keep considering getting a new one and swapping them out but it’s held up surprisingly well.Seven Year Update: My neighbors got a puppy and she just cried the whole first night in the crate. I got her one of these and the difference is amazing. She hears the heartbeat and goes directly into her crate!I broke down and got my dog another one, even though this is a big pricey for the size of toy. He is in love. He has spent hours cuddling with this in the past two days. I put up a pic of the old one vs new one. I finally washed the old one and it’s better, but he LOVES the new one. I was being sentimental as it was the toy I had with me when I picked him up from the breeder, but apparently he doesn’t care. I will be getting more, possibly yearly, as he destroys them.

Many features to bring comfort to my little dog.
I’m giving this four stars because I think people disbelieve a five star rating.I almost did not order this because of someone reviews. When I read them, which is often, I start at the one star reviews and go up from there.The one stars tell me where the biggest problems are. What feature or failure it was that made them angry enough to give just one star. For this product, there were a lot of the same complaints. Therefore, I felt that these were accurate.Two, three, and four stars, I judged as having good information, and the reviewers found something redeeming about the product.Five stars tended to make me skeptical. Maybe it was a genuine review, or maybe the person was in a rush, but wanted to give a favorable review.Back to my purchase. I carefully considered what was said. There was enough said about the products disappointments that I was not confident in my purchase. I’ve made returns before, I could make another one if necessary.When it arrived, I carefully inspected it. I looked for enclosed seams, frayed material, ineffective velcro, the placement for the beating heart, and how much play it could withstand. The only complaint I had was that there was just one of the warming packs. How could a person learn about that feature with just one test?I set the heart to come on whenever it sensed movement. I kept expecting it to stop, but it has not. Unlike another reviewer, I thought the sound resembled the sound of a beating heart. It was subtle, but loud enough to be heard or felt when nearby. My little dog doesn’t play much, but the velcro closure has held tight. It even helps me calm down when I’m too stressed. The rhythm is the right speed for calm.I’m no longer worried that it will fall apart. I’m relieved to know that I can purchase a new heart when I wear this one out, and that the warming packs are available too. I’m happy with this comfort toy, and glad that I made the purchase.

J’avais compris que cette peluche était fortement recommandée pour les chiots afin de réduire leur anxiété de séparation. A tester sur le moyen terme. En attendant, la peluche est très douce. Elle est fournie avec le cœur (pile incluse) qui reproduit le battement de cœur et un heat pack initial pour la chaleur. Bonne qualité de la peluche et l’intérieur me paraît sûr mais protéger le chiot une fois pelotonné contre elle. Vraiment charmant!
