V Lo Bat and the Blast Swing Analzer
This is a must for uplevel ball players. This has helped my son (16) improve his swing with increase power and speed. We also added the Blast Baseball Swing Anazler so that he can collect the data and see his swing path. By doing this he was able to make several corrections which has improved his power, bat speed, and the EV low. After only 2 weeks of work with both bat and Blast his BA jump 30 points and his OB went up also. First 5 games he is batting 357 and had 14 Rbi’s and had 8 runs. He works with the bat and the Blast every day as a tool to get better. He spend 15 to 20 minutes with the vlo bat with the Blast on it, then when he changes to his regular bat he moves the Blast to it. He charts all of of swings with both reguarl bat and then with the Vlo so he can compair the 2 different data. It also helps with the swing tracker image that he can look at.

WARNING – As of August 2025 All Useful Metrics are behind a Pay Wall
I purchased this device back in 2019. It’s safe to say that I’ve used it for thousands of swings. I was quite happy with the purchase and it seemed to work well, was consistent, and the free app displayed many of the metrics I used. When I purchase the unit, the free metrics displayed on the app were bat speed, attack angle, hand speed, vertical angle, Power (kW), and Time to Contact. I especially liked that it saved all swings and I could view them over different time periods. This gave me a good sense of progression and if the changes I made to my swing were having an effect. I even tried the premium version of the app that displayed a number of additional metrics, including launch angle, distance, and video recording. While I found those additional metrics interesting, they were touchy to record and required a more complicated set up. As a result I didn’t continue my premium subscription.WARNING: fast forward to August 2025. They have apparently were acquired by WIN Reality back in June 2025, and they just rolled out changes to the app. The new owners decided to make some changes, and I must warm everyone this is no longer a product worth recommending. While a few metrics remain free, none of them display individual swings in any depth, and the most important metrics such as bat speed, attack angle, hand speed, and the others mentioned above are all now locked behind a pay wall. You MUST purchase a premium subscription of $50/year to make use of them. I have several issues with this – they did so without given current users any warning, they didn’t provide any way to save your swing data (I lost years of data!), and the biggest issue is that when I purchased the unit back in 2019 it was with the understanding of providing a number of metrics free of charge. For $150 I would expect some level of basic functionality to be provided.I CANNOT recommend this product knowing that for $150 you essentially get nothing useful in terms of metrics with a recurring paid subscription. I will be seeking alternatives now.

We Love it
I’m a facility owner and made a Rapsodo purchase 2 months ago. Then I got Blast last month and the guys spend more time looking at Blast data than the 5GRAND Rapsodo data!!One thing that is not out in the open is that you can take 10 swings a day and if you want more you have to purchase a membership. That was a bit of a surprise but it’s worth it, for us.

No way!, my son is 6 years old, first time seeing him getting the ball and put it on the batting tee, he got so excited to try to do it better and beat his own record!. We have been using it for almost a week now and I can see progress, specially when he do something good and he wants to do it better. I totally recommend this tool, because the kids can have a real feed back with colors and number which push them to do it better. Also, you can upload a screenshot of the session in one of the ChatGPT or any other AI and it will read the numbers and provide you with drills and links how to improve specific areas, so you don’t really need to understand every single data

This might not be for everyone,
First the main drawbacks of this product. In order to get all the features out of this swing sensor you have to buy the subscription, you get a two week trial to try it out but then after that its either pay for a year or a month to month plan. It is $60 for a year or $6.95 a month and they only allow one user extra users are another $6.95. I have had some issues with the launch monitor feature of this product, I have a hard time capturing any launch data on swings. The only way I am able to capture it, is indoors, outdoors it will not work for some reason and the app also gets very problematic when trying to get out of video mode to go back into app to review data. The sensor is small and though the rubber mount for the bottom of the bat does protect it somewhat I wouldn’t suggest using it in a game due to how bats are always being thrown around, dropped mixed in with the dust and dirt could cause damage to it. That being said however there are some real benefits to this product that can help, but knowing what the numbers are telling you is the key. This sensor gives you several metrics and Blast does do a good job of organizing the information but the descriptions given by Blast on what the metrics values mean isn’t very detailed. However after some reading on my own I was able to find out more on what each metric was and it has been very helpful. This should be used on a consistent basis to get any real value out of it.

Real vs Feel Training
One of the cheapest items to provide accurate swing information. Great for tracking bat speed and helping to identify attack angle and many other great metrics. Does require a subscription to get the most benefit out of it, but can be used with the free plan as well.

Needs an on off switch
Is a pretty cool gadget for sure. My son loves to watch you swing in be able to see how difference is in his hands and positioning affect everything. But the only downside is the battery. There’s no way to turn it off and on, and it turns on every time you move the device. So for him to put it on his bat bag and carry it everywhere, the device is constantly on and no way to turn it off.
