WELNOVE HEAL PROTECTOR
Received the Welnove heel sock today. I have struggled with dry skin on heels FOREVER! This is related to vitamin b6 deficiency which is a genetic condition associated with the MTHFR gene mutation and folate deficiency. Vitamin B6 deficiency causes very dry skin that cracks and bleeds. Hydrating with lots of water is a plus. I have seen many Dermatologist and tried assortments of salves/creams and found my own solution. File heals first with a “SHAPPY FILE” sold here on Amazon prior to putting utter balm on heels. The file is curved to fit the heel. Its one of the best files I have found so far. I then use “BAG BALM” (ointment) in the metal tin sold on Amazon. Bag balm is used for cow’s utters to keep them soft. It’s super thick ointment similar to Vaseline but has “antiseptic” properties in it and will heal those cracks overnight so you can start walking again with comfort. It was a toss up with the silicone heal protectors vs the WELNOVE neoprene padded heal cushions which are washable. I plan on buying a 2nd set of the Welnove padded heel protectors so I can have an extra set. Very pleased with purchase, we’ll made and have velcro to take on/off easily. Looking forward to smooth heels!

Performs as expected. Stays in place. It’s small, so cushioning is limited, but it does fit inside my work boots and most shoes.

Edit: i originally gave these a 5 star review but after 1 day working on hard concrete floors, these things chafed my heels something fierce. Get a size down from your foot size unless you have really large feet (height wise.)I was a bit skeptical about this product at first, but after trying them on and walking on them over my socks and in my boots (which they fit snugly in place) i may never walk without these on.I broke my right heel almost a year ago to date and have been suffering from almost debilitating heel pain ever since then. I also walk in a way that puts alot of pressure on my heels. Once i wear through these, I’m most definitely buying them again!

A life rope
I seldom write reviews but I am singing my praises about this one. I suffer from plantar fasciitis and right now my heels are killing me. I put these on and I have such great relief. They support my arch as well as cushion my heel. I slept with them on and when I got out of bed in the morning, I could walk without much discomfort at all. These don’t take away all the pain but they sure make walking bearable. They don’t fit well into shoes but are great for slippers and sandals.

Felt good for only for few hours
The product is ok. It is basically gel fill cushion for heel. Wearing it inside the shoe will require at least 1/2 size bigger or else it feels extremely tight. I wear the product inside my tennis/pickleball shoe for better heel support. First time I wear for 2 hours continuous game. It felt good. Second time I wear it and did not felt same. Like gel lost it’s absorbe capacity. On top of that after playing 3hour game when I took of my shoes I finds out the cover has broken and sticky gel started licking.Product came with 2 pair, thankfully I only opened one. I am returning this as it lasted only few hours.

Producto en que viene en su propio envase, que se abre fácil.La construcción es buena, aunque es un producto que dependerá del uso que le deis pues se irá desgastando más lento o más rápido. Obviamente no es de por vida.El gel amortiguador es bueno y no excesivo. No parece que lleves altillos para entenderme.Me vienen bien para cuando me hago alguna lesión. Como hago mucho deporte y vario pintos, es común que me haga daño en varias partes del cuerpo entre ellas los tobillos :).Aunque es una buena solución para los talones, no recomiendo usarlas de golpe mucho tiempo. Sino la parte delante (dedos sobre todo) empieza a molestar y para no acostumbrarse.A día que estoy haciendo la review el precio es de 16,99€Resumiendo es un producto que me gustó.Espero que os haya servido de ayuda esta review!Un Saludo!Nicola

I suffer from Plantar Fasciitis and had sleepless nights in pain as a result of walking around on hard floors at home (living in a hot climate) and exercising with inadequate heel protection in my shoes. Doctors advise both rest and also comfortable shoes / slippers with padded heels to absorb the impact. I prefer to use Welnove Heel Protectors at home because they do protect the heel, easy to wear, absorb the impact, washable and they don’t make my feet sweat (unlike slippers). I bought 5-pairs so I can rotate them but I probably only really need two (one wash/one wear). They are not quite as comfortable as wearing slippers at home but they have brought pain relief and have worked for me.
