Finally, found a gadget that removes pet hair! Very happy with this purchase. It is very easy to use and looks to be pretty reliable for quite some time.

Amazing on Thick Carpet and Husky Fur
We only have one dog, a Siberian Husky, but the fur-mageddon is real. I wanted a better solution for stairs since vacuuming the stairs is such a pain (thick carpet, curved stairway). I decided to try this, it looked promising enough. Turns out, it is money well spent. I can run it over the stairs and get so much fur. It takes minimal effort and it is quick. I am very impressed.This thing pulls out more fur than I even knew was there. I used it on my stairs a couple times a week to keep them looking much better. I also use it on the areas my dog lays the most because it gets so furry and mats down the carpet. Great for that when you don’t feel like vacuuming but looks freshly vacuumed.I even used it on the microfiber towel I keep in the dog’s crate. Worked pretty well on that, too. Snagged it a couple of times, but nothing major and it’s just the dog towel so I don’t care much. Really got a lot of fur off which was great before washing it.What’s really nice about this tool is that no matter how much hair you rake out of your carpets, it just balls up and doesn’t get caught up in the tool itself. There’s no real cleaning that has to be done with the tool. A gentle shake and the hair falls off. You’re not wasting time pulling it out of the rake.The way this tool is designed allows you to get right up against furniture, baseboards/walls, and edges of the stairs and not miss anything. You can rake it flush against something and get clear to the edge. You don’t need to press hard, it didn’t get caught in my carpet and so far only pulled out a couple of very small carpet pieces (but those could’ve been loose to begin with).This is seriously an awesome tool, and I highly recommend it. It’ll work for any type of pet hair, long or short. Would be awesome to keep carpeted cat trees clean. But I love it most of all for the stairs.If I had to say something negative about this product (because nothing is 100% perfect), I’d say the handle could use very minor improvement. A little thicker to make it more comfortable to hold. It feels a bit flimsy but not to the point I feel like I’m going to break it with normal use.

Only for fuzzy fabrics
I have a couch that gets pet hair stuck in the fabric and it’s really hard to get it out. I’ve tried all the other types of products, with varying results, and was hoping this would be the answer. It was not. Even though the couch is a really durable fabric, it quickly became apparent that using this tool on it will make the fairly flat fabric become fuzzy so it’s simply not an option. It did pull out hair, but no better than some of the other tools (works pretty much the same as the cheaper squeegee-type tools and slightly better than the chom-chom roller). I can see it working really well on carpets and car mats, but I would not use it on any fabric that isn’t already fuzzy. In my opinion, they should only market it for that use. So for my purposes, it’s one star, but since I can see how it would be good on what it’s probably intended for, I split the difference and gave it a 3. Kind of annoyed about it, though.

Great for Rejuvenating Fleece!
This worked great to brush out and freshen my daughter’s The North Face fleece winter coat. It’s 4-5 years old and was extremely matted, especially the area under her purse strap. After washing and drying it, I spent a of couple evenings with this tool, just brushing and brushing the outer fleece — I really ripped into it. Piles of fuzzies were removed. The coat now looks brand new and feels MUCH softer…! My daughter says it’s like a brand new coat. Just be careful, lesser quality fleece may not come through this process with the same results.
