Protect your couch, bed, car seats!
The blanket does resist spills, water, personal lubricants. It washes well but still needs spot cleaning on some mishaps. The blanket stays well on the bed without creeping off and is comfortable. I purchased the queen size but returned it for the king which covers the bed. Well made, easy to use and clean

Truly Waterproof!
I have a dog with temperament issues who is often anxious and fearful. This is especially apparent when it is time to go out for potty breaks in the evenings. My dog will hide, refusing to go out. I would leave him inside while I went out with my other dog, and while we were outside, he began running up to my bedroom and going his business all over my bed. While this happens very few and far between these days, at the time, it was a nightmare to live with. Not only was it gross to deal with, it made a lot of extra work for me in the form of changing my bedding so often, and multiple extra loads of laundry. I tried at least three other waterproof blankets before, and none of them worked unless I noticed my dog’s mess immediately after it happened. When this happened, I could usually remove the waterproof blanket and find the bedding underneath was dry. However, if more than a few minutes passed, the waterproof blankets didn’t hold up, and were barely helpful. Then I found this blanket. The price was alarming, but after multiple lower-priced failures, I wondered if maybe “you get what you pay for” would be applicable in this case. Let me just say this blanket is worth every penny and I actually own three of them now! I keep one on my bed at all times, and it holds the wetness entirely. I am also impressed with the laundering instructions, which call for hot water. I appreciate this from a hygiene perspective. The other waterproof blankets I’d tried before needed to be washed in warm water, which always left me wondering whether they were truly clean. I absolutely love this blanket, and recommend them to anyone with pets.

ACTUALLY WATERPROOF AND AMAZING
This blanket is literally amazing. I have a cat that I adopted from a shelter who sometimes has some improper urination on my couch or bed.Previous “waterproof” blankets I bought weren’t actually and they always leaked urine onto the actual bed or couch. NOT THIS ONE. First, I conducted a test on this blanket when I got it – could it hold 1/2 cup of water for at least 2 hours without leaking (it could!!) literally nothing got through to the other side.But today it finally passed it’s first real world test! My car unfortunately has an accident and it worked like magic! Held the urine and so I was able to paper towel up the urine. I could then spray on enzymatic cleaner which it held without leaking through! Literally the fastest cleanup after an improper urination incident I have ever had!On top of that, it’s a pretty nice blanket. Very warm and soft unlike other waterproof blankets which don’t feel great or don’t look like blankets. It also fits completely over my loveseat sized couch, I can drape it over so it covers the seat, back, and arms. This is great cause my cat tends to pee in the corners so if something didn’t fully drape over the couch pee would get onto it.GET THIS NOW IF YOU HAVE AN ACCIDENT PRONE PET! I have 2 and it is truly life changing.

YOU MUST WASH ON COLD AND AIR DRY ON A LINE OR ELSE IT WILL LOSE WATERPROOFING
I loved these so much I bought 4 of them. However, you must wash them on cold and air dry them. If you do not, they will lose their waterproof quality. They are the best out there, but if you don’t treat them right, they won’t work.I started drying them on medium to save time. I had two on the same bed — one above the sheets and under the sheets. My cat peed on top of the bed, and even the blanket under the sheets was wet.This was my mistake – I dried them on Medium.The manufacturer says to only dry the blankets on Low. However, they are so heavy and waterlogged after washing that it takes several cycles on low to dry them, or one to two days on an indoor clothesline.I discussed with the manufacturer and realized my mistake. They sent me another blanket. Now I will ONLY dry them on low and then hang them on the line for a day to keep drying. The new blanket is waterproof, my cat peed on it tonight and it did not soak through.

I purchased 2 of these blankets to protect furniture, I have a 15 year old dog with an incontinence problem, these “waterproof” blankets are as useless as a paper towel.

I like that it is soft and waterproof and it is reversible. The colors are ok yellow/green. I would have liked other more neutral colors but beside my wants, the blanket is large enough for our king size bed and it is water proof. yeah!

We have added a puppy to our household and this blanket was purchased to protect our furniture and cars from accidents. It has performed flawlessly! Pee beads and gives you a chance to collect it with a towel while keeping the blanket completely dry. It’s easier to wash in the washing machine and easy to dry. You won’t be disappointed!

Very nice blanket. Keeps the hair and dirt from my dogs off of the bed better than a regular blanket. The only downside is that it takes a long time to dry after washing even when using the dryer.
