Clean Teeth, Happy Tails 🐝
My dogs love these Burt’s Bees dental treats.I have two elderly Siberian Huskies. Their teeth are not too bad off, but they could use some help with their breath at times.I opened the package and smelled the contents of the treats. They smell a bit like ginger. It’s not unpleasant at all.I offered them to my dogs and they were elated. They really devoured them with glee. My slower eating dog only took a few minutes to eat his. My fast eater took care of her treat within about thirty seconds.They are relatively hard to the touch, but not completely solid. They feel very dense, and not sticky.Each treat is about four inches long, and I would say they suit small or medium sized dogs just fine.I noticed that it helped the odor of my dog’s breath the day after giving them the treats. Their teeth look slightly better as well. This is really all I expect from dental treats, they are not a substitution for brushing or dental care but they do help maintain tooth health. My dogs have not had any upset stomach issues with them, and my fast eater has a very sensitive stomach.I believe these are thoughtfully designed, quality made, unique and inviting dog dental treats. I love the shape. It reminds me of the little wand that you would dip into honey, though I don’t know the technical name for it. My dogs are very happy.Thank you.

Dogs like the taste; not a messy green
This review is for BURT’S BEES FOR PETS “Dental Treats for Dogs with Manuka Honey & Ginger” in the peanut butter flavor, 10ct, 7 oz.These are label for small dogs, and that’s definitely accurate. I don’t think it would be safe to give these to larger dogs, as it would be too easy for them to swallow whole.I tried these out in two different dogs. The first, 25 lbs, has a sensitive mouth and while she liked the smell, they were too hard/dense for her, just as dental treats have been for her in the past, so no surprise there. She would have attempted to swallow it whole if I had given her the chance.The second dog, 10 lbs, was a perfect fit for these. He enjoys chewing, and was quite happy with the flavor and density of these. They also are too big for him to immediately swallow whole. His teeth are already well maintained, so these dental treats didn’t make a noticeable difference in cleaning his teeth, but they are the kind our vet recommends for teeth maintenance.I personally appreciated that they smelled fine and weren’t green (so they can’t stain the rug).

Dog Took His Time But Stomach Approved
My small dog needed a minute to figure these out. They’re a bit denser than the average treat, so it actually took him some time to chew through one instead of inhaling it in 0.4 seconds. I count that as a win for dental purposes. They smell mildly peanut buttery with a hint of something herbal, probably the honey and ginger situation. Not gross, just different. The texture is firm but not rock hard, and they didn’t crumble everywhere. Most important part: no stomach drama. No diarrhea, no weird belly issues, which is always my first concern with new treats. For a more natural, plant based option, these feel like decent quality. A little pricey for 10 treats, but if you want something that lasts longer than a blink and doesn’t wreck your dog’s gut, they do the job.

Good dental treat but my dog didn’t like the smell
These dog dental treats have a nice shape that helps dogs chew and clean their teeth. The size works well for small dogs and the treats feel firm enough for chewing. I like the idea of giving a treat that can also help with dental care. The ingredients also look pretty natural, which is nice for a dog snack. It’s an easy way to add a little extra dental care without brushing every time. However, my dog didn’t seem to like them very much. The ginger smell probably is why and my dog was not very interested after smelling it. Some dogs may like it, but mine didn’t.

My partner’s female dog enjoys these treats very much. They are a well designed dental treat, and my bf’s dog seems very happy with them after she gets one.There is a mild ginger like scent, and the chew flavor is appealing to her dog. The texture is dense (firm but chewable), and importantly, it is not sticky. Each treat measures about four inches long, making it a manageable chew size good for small or medium dogs.These treats definitely help with breath odor, and they support dental maintenance. Her dog’s teeth look slightly cleaner from them, and they are a chew for supplemental dental hygiene.
