This blanket is genuinely cool to the touch. After a dog has been lying on it for a while, it does warm to their body temperature, so they need to shift positions to get that cooling effect again.It’s much larger than I anticipated, washable, and feels well made. I use it on the bed purely for my dogs’ comfort, not for aesthetics, and it serves that purpose well.One thing to note: it isn’t waterproof (and it doesn’t claim to be). I have senior dogs, so I added pads underneath and that solved the issue easily. Once I accounted for that, it worked exactly as intended.It’s not inexpensive, but the size and quality feel consistent with what’s being offered. This blanket truly is cool to the touch. My dog uses it off and on. If she can’t find a cool spot on the floor she will lie on the cooling blanket. I am thinking of purchasing another one for my smaller dog. The blanket for large dogs is about the size of a blanket you would use in a baby crib. Plenty big for my large doodle. Have yet to wash it to see if it retains its cooling ability.

My dog loves this! We cuddle with her every night after we eat dinner. In the summer, this can get a little difficult to do because she gets warm so quickly. This blanket allows her to stay on the couch longer. She has even run towards the couch when she saw us bring the blanket.I am considering getting the extra large one for myself because this blanket is cooler than the one I have for me.It does eventually warm up (especially since my dog doesn’t move much when we cuddle), so getting 2 is helpful if you want to use it for sleeping.

I have three dogs and one is a Pomeranian so she has a lot more hair than my other two. All of pups love laying on this and I’ve noticed they stay cooler when they lay on it. It’s nice and silky too so it’s very comfortable. I’m happy my babies can stay cool and be comfortable too!
