Best litter for Guinea Pigs. Wicks away wetness. Good odor control. Soft.
I’ve used many, many brands and this is the best I’ve found for my guinea pigs. I go through a lot of litter because I have litter boxes in front of their food and water. That’s where my GP’s do most of their bathroom business. I change out anything wet a couple times a day when I feed them. I was previously just buying whatever paper, pet-safe bedding was the lowest price, as there are often coupons and BOGO sales on different brands.There seems to be no odor, even with my house is warmer. But more important – This litter seems to wick the urine down to the litter on the bottom, keeping the top litter dry and clean. When I first starting using it, it was so dry on the top I thought something was wrong… like they were not peeing enough (maybe dehydrated or a water bottle failure)… but turns out it was just dry on the top and wet on the bottom. This is excellent for my GP’s comfort and cleanliness.It’s also soft and sometimes they just lie in it. The rest of their abode has fleece flooring with water proof pads underneath, which they seem to like, but sometimes when I first put this stuff down they just want to hang out in the litter box… lol.

Very good choice for Rats

Best / not best bedding for Guinea pigs.
The best paper bedding I know of and far superior for Guinea pigs than other products. It is dust free, controls odor, soft for their feet and easy to keep clean. Just pick up the poop and wet spots, add clean bedding and they are good to go. Fleece can be attractive but unless changed almost daily it “smells” and while less expensive than paper bedding, I don’t have the time to do laundry almost daily. I should also note that Carefresh is a terrific company…I received several bags of inferior quality that I had ordered online made by a new supplier to them and they immediately appologized and sent me coupons for free replacements when I reported it to them. Not many companies will do that.Move ahead to May 2018…I don’t know what happened to Carefresh but their soft, fluffy paper beddding has been replaced by large clumps of hard pieces of paper that have a chemical smell and do not absorb urine as well. I again reached out to the company which again offered free coupons for replacement bags but the bags in the stores are just as bad so that was no help. I’m afraid to order online because I don’t know what I’ll receive. In the past I’ve returned bags to Amazon, Chewy and Petsmart online. I think my days of buying Carefresh Ultra are over and that is really sad.

Dust free and no bad smell bedding
Been buying the same product for over three years now. This is by far the best bedding for my rabbit. No dust and absorbs everything and there’s never a smell. I try to clean it every three – four days. Works great for me and my bunny!

Works well for small hamsters not for large hamsters or Guinea pigs .
This is great bedding for dwarf hamsters but not Guinea pigs or large hamsters. The odor control only works for small hamsters. I have 2 hamsters and had Guinea pigs in the past and I can honestly say it works well for my winter white dwarf hamster. It never helped for my Guinea pigs and my new hamster a Syrian long haired hamster has his cage smelling in a few days no matter how clean I keep the bedding.

El producto funciona de maravilla y absorbe tanto aromas como los líquidos, claro no es para que dejes las partes sucias , se tienen que remover, sino si olerá (obviamente) pero su función la realiza de maravilla!
