Great stuff
My dog absolutely loves this stuff. I use it with her food to mix with her meds also. Helps out sooooo much.

More energy
Since I’ve been giving this to my 11 yr old schnauzer, I’ve noticed that he has more energy, wants to go on walks more and play more- and overall acts like he did when he was 4 or 5. I highly recommend!

I started out a strong skeptic but did some research
Longevity is a big claim and I would like that because dogs don’t live long enough. However, as I so often have written in reviews of dog supplements, there is a lot of promise and very little supporting documentation. There is nothing in the listing that I see that gives me any idea of what “Science-Backed Wellness” is behind this, what the “fatty15, an award-winning pure C15:0 ingredient” is, how it supports liver, cardiovascular, red blood cell and glucose function and if giving this to my dog over time will have any impact on her longevity.I am a skeptic because I see too many overarching claims for pet products these days and this one looks really legitimate with packaging that has all the subtlety of human medication.I went to the link on the package about the pending patent since there is no information on or in the package or listing. The link leads to a site about fatty15, also called pentadecanoic acid, with lots of background information about the substance, science and background. Also, while it says this product is manufactured for Pet’s Best Life which is in Kansas City, MO, it does not say where it was manufactured. While that can be a red flag, I had some help exploring further and learned that the USA above the UPC means it was manufactured in the USA. The company should list it prominently though since it is definitely a concern of mine and I assume others as well.Furthermore, the company sells it’s products in some major pet retailers as well as Amazon. That’s a clear sign that it isn’t a fly-by-night brand.. In addition, Yummy Combs, the company that makes Longevity15 – C15:0, has products that carry the VOHC seal. VOHC stands for the Veterinary Oral Health Council which awards a seal to products that meet a rigorous set of criteria including research trials. While that seal wouldn’t apply for this product since this isn’t a dental product, it is an indicator that Yummy Combs invests in research and development. Also, the product uses a patented product as it’s key ingredient and though 3rd party testing is something that would confirm that the ingredient is actually present, it is unlikely that the owner of that patented product would not take legal action if someone claimed to be using their product and wasn’t. That makes me pretty certain that the product is what it says it is.Though I had never heard of Fatty15, while investigating this product, I met someone who had knowledge of it and expressed enthusiasm about the research behind this product and interest in using it. She also helped me to investigate Yummy Combs and this product, essentially transforming my initial impressions. I am now not only comfortable giving it to my dog, I am quite enthusiastic about using it.

My dog’s seem to love the taste and hopefully will benefit from it
I received Longevity 15 for dogs health supplement to review. Health supplements like this are difficult to review based on health results because without expensive medical studies no one can really say for sure if they are actually working as advertised especially in a short trial time and with a longevity supplement it would be even harder. What I can review is how my did reacts to them as far as tolerating taste, any digestive or sudden change in health issues during trial, packaging and ease of dosing, freshness of product, etc.I have an 11yo Chihuahua/rat terrier mix with chronic bronchitis and knee issues and a very healthy 9yo Chihuahua/Australian cattle dog/toy fox terrier mix that are both 23-24# each. The older one is a huge for hound that will eat anything and the other is a picky eater who has to be coaxed to eat premium kibble with soft food mixed in our moistened, etc.The box of 30 individual packets came well packaged in a carton sealed with a sticker inside a custom box with fun writing on the inside and had a pro recycling vibe. The expiration label on back of medication box is December 2026. The dosing is a daily dose of 22mg powder that is measured into individual sealed packets for 26-50# dogs to be sprinkled on their food. The dosage for my dog’s weights is half that but we have the medium dog dosage packets of 22mg. I measure the packet contents to be a little over 1/2 tsp and then split that in half between my 2 dogs sprinkled over their moistened kibble for an approximate correct dosage.**I can’t recommend dividing the packet contents this way since I have not searched for evidence from the company’s manufacturing process that the dosage can accurately be split evenly with this method. The powder has a savory & pleasant smell. Both of them gobbled up their food and locked the bowls clean (even the picky one). So far, Normal stools, urinating normally, drinking the average amount of water and normal behavior. My dog’s are very spoiled and fed premium foods and both take joint supplements appropriate for each one’s health status. The older one is in several pricey meds per twice daily in addition to both being on heartworm prevention monthly. I sunny mine paying to keep them healthy. Saying all that, I didn’t know if I can justify the price for this supplement especially for 2 of them without making more solid evidence that it will actually help them in a measurable way. I did research the supplement as much as I could before giving to my dogs. I didn’t find anything potential that should harm them. So I figure it eill either benefit their health or at the least, they will be eager to eat their food and enjoy the taste. The active ingredient, FA-15, is also marketed to humans for longevity and a better alternative to Omega-3 and I’m not sure that I could justify the price to take it myself either with it being a newer supplement.I’ll give this a 5/5 for being fresh & well packaged with easy dosing and my dogs get very excited to eat it. I will come back and update this review if I see any behavior or symptoms that concern me or encourage me to consider continuing this daily after the 30 days supply I received.

take my review with a grain of salt. one and half month update –
I used this supplement on both of my Shiba Inu over a period of a month and a half. A single 150 dollar purchase gets you 3 boxes of 30 packs which equals out to a 90 day supply. However, because I split these boxes between two dogs, they only lasted us 45 days. Not very cost effective but we do like the noticeable changes in my 5 year old’s energy levels. This supplement is designed to support liver health and overall vitality, which aligns with my focus on providing holistic care for my pet. The formulation includes a fatty acid known for its anti-inflammatory properties, which is particularly beneficial for aging dogs or those with specific health concerns. Since incorporating this supplement, I’ve noticed improved energy levels in both my dogs but more so in my 5 year old. She definitely started to slow down over the years but recently it was nice to see be able to keep up with her 2.5 year old brother. The product is easy to administer, and my dogs accept it without hesitation. We just sprinkle it over their AM meals and mix everything together. Please take what I say with a grain of salt though. This is just my own observations with our own household pets and results are not guaranteed to be the same across the board with every dog. Please consult with your vet first before starting this supplement 🙂
