I have three cats, and one of them is a gorgeous solid white longhair who leaves her fluffy clouds EVERYWHERE—furniture, clothes you name it! We have a black lab. If you don’t know what that means, just understand she is the greatest dog to ever dog. And there is always hair everywhere.Always.Everywhere.We use this roller all the time after we vacuum the rugs where she luxuriates. The vacuum gets up most of the loose hair, but not all of it. And whatever it doesn’t get up, this roller does.I really don’t understand the low review scores for this item. It’s not difficult to put the handle together: three short metal tubes that screw together, righty-tighty. One is clearly the end of the handle, and only one will fit into the roller frame, which leaves only one that can be the middle piece. That’s it. There is a plastic storage tray that the roller sits in so that it doesn’t stick to your floor – also not complicated, though it could be designed a little better. If you have a clean sheet exposed, it may stick to the tray. They would be better served if the tray was a little bit deeper so this doesn’t happen. Since that’s not the case I leave the used sheet on there so the surface isn’t sticky and then remove it when I’m ready to use the roller again.But understand these are very wide rolls. They are not for your garments, unless you’re laying them on your floor or your sofa to roll over them. This is not a handheld lint roller. And unless you have a large open area in the backseat of an F-150, it’s not going to get into the small areas in and around your automobile.What makes this product such a great buy is it’s width and that it comes with all the extra rolls. I wholeheartedly recommend this, even at full price, if you’re getting it for the right job.
