Lovely color and doesn’t smell strong at all!
Compared to another, similarly mostly organic tanning product, I absolutely love that this has a very mild scent that is pleasant even, and dissipates. I’m a redhead with some freckles – got the medium color – didn’t use a mitt, just put it on like any lotion and rubbed in well, then waited about 30 minutes before finishing getting dressed. The color began to show in a few hours and then darkened even more over night. It is a very nice shade, not orange or yellow – looks pretty natural! It turned out a little darker than I wanted for my face, so I just ordered the light color in a smaller tube to try. By the way, I break out pretty easily, even now in middle age, and this product didn’t cause any problems at all on my face. In fact, my skin felt softer all over after application. The aloe and shea butter make this a really lovely product. I had a little bit of streaking where I didn’t apply it evenly on the underside of my arm, and I put a tad too much on my ankles and feet, but not enough for other folks to really notice. Hopefully I’ll be able to avoid that in the future with a little practice. It wasn’t enough to worry about really, or deter me from using the product again. Overall, this Beauty by Earth tanning product was surprisingly excellent!!

The best self tanner I’ve ever used, I’m fair so I’ve used just about all of them. This gives you a nice color within a few hours, no smell, it’s not sticky and I use the darker one, even with fair skin. It also does not make freckles and dark spots darker like most. Use a mit to apply. Theres no instant color but goes on even. Of coarse, use a damp cloth around knees, elbows, ankles, and knuckles!

Favorite Self Tanner w/ Some Tips to Note
I absolutely love this self tanner it creates a really natural looking effortless even glow & also builds easily. I’d say as far as self tanning products (I’ve tried a lot over the years) this one is super beginner/user friendly. It’s nearly impossible to get an uneven or splotchy tan unless you just blatantly miss a whole spot & I rarely get dark patches on those spots you need to apply sparingly (elbows, knees, hands & feet) even when not being super careful about it.Now there are some things to note.. you’ve probably seen the social media ads saying you can put this on & 30 minutes later be out the door.. that statement is mostly true as long as your not going to be sweating a lot or are in a humid climate like south Florida lol. If I do that then do an activity outside it’ll rub off at any tight clothes or sock lines. If you’re in a similar case I’ve found it’s best to still apply this when you’ll be doing inside things or at night allowing it to fully develop & penetrate the skin THEN SHOWER before doing outside activities or working out. A quick rinse with a touch of soap is all you need & bonus points if you use a regular moisturizer afterwards. I’ve found this really helps lock it in & is the best way to keep your perfect glow. It also gets rid of the ever so slight fake tan smell which is very minimal with this product but still there. Lastly, transfer proof isn’t exactly true either. If you’re not sweating or do the above apply & shower method then it is correct you can immediately wear that white shirt. But (& this is how I also realized the above method was ideal lol) I applied this one late afternoon then the next morning without rinsing went on a 4 mile walk. It was early so it wasn’t even overly hot but of course it was humid & I ended up sweating. I was wearing a white tshirt, all seemed to be fine I got home & was just cooling down then like 30 minutes later went to get in the shower & realized my white shirt was completely sweat watermarked with brown tanning streaks really really bad lol. Thankfully my shirt came out of the wash perfectly white again so it won’t permanently stain but lesson learned regarding application.

Great color, terrible dry down odor that lasts and lasts.
I purchased Beautiful by Earth self tanning lotion in medium to dark. I showered and applied after exfoliating. It smells amazing (a nice coconut scent) from the tube also very emollient. It worked just as stated. I didn’t have any streaking and washed my hands immediately after the application. There was no orangey color as most self tanners have. I let it dry about 15 minutes after getting dressed. The color started appearing in about 2 to 3 hour. Bravo!!! However, after several hours so did the dreaded self-tanners odor 🤢 Every evening, I soak in the tub with fragant Dr. Teal’s and Caress liquid body soap. This self-tanner’s odor did not dissipate and I could still smell it in the morning when I awoke. Took a shower in the morning and could still smell it. I would definitely give this product a 5 star if it weren’t for the strong self-tanner odor. I don’t care what anyone says — unfortunately, they all have it!

My favorite self-tanner of all time!
I rarely leave reviews BUT I wanted to stop by and say this is my favorite self-tanner of all time! It has a gentle clean fragrance, the lotion goes on white which allows you to see where you have applied and the color goes on even! I get so many compliments when I have this product on. In the winter I get fair to medium when I already have a natural tan in the summer I get medium to dark. I have a light olive/beige complexion. I have recommended this self tanner to quite a few of my friends. I have tried many and this one is by far my favorite all around. It’s a little pricier than some self tanner products but a bottle tans my whole body at least 6+ times. I hope you love this stuff as much as I do!

Surprenant! C’est vraiment le meilleur autobronzant que jai essayé jusqu’à maintenant. Pas d’odeur dégueux et pas d’orange. J’ai choisi médium-fonce mais j’aurais du prendre le plus foncé. J’applique aux 2-3 jours pour un glow santé. Il ne me donne pas d’acné et la quantité est généreuse.
