Our Company History
In 1928, at the age of twenty-two, Peter Beilenson began printing books on a small press in the basement of his parents’ home in Larchmont, New York. Peter—and later, his wife, Edna—sought to create fine books that sold at prices even a pauper could afford.
Today, still family owned and operated, Peter Pauper Press continues to honor our founders’ legacy—and our customers’ expectations—of beauty, quality, and value.

Good Enough to Buy Again
I’ve bought this for two of my vehicles now. It’s a rather tiny booklet so storing it in a glove compartment is nearly unnoticeable. Although, it is a bit of an awkward size if you were to store it in a folder or a file cabinet. I’ve found that the section of the book that I use the most, which is the “Maintenance” section, is small compared to the rest of the sections; trips, repairs, summary. I’ve almost filled it up for one of my vehicles which means I’ll be buying a 3rd soon, but maybe in the future the seller can make that section with double or triple the pages. Overall, I keep buying and recommending this one because other books that I’ve returned focus more on short-term trip recording with minimal detail rather than long-term ownership and documentation, which this one does. Highly recommend!

Love it and will order more!
Nicely done!First of all they get kudos for providing some description of the interior of the book, I did not find that in the other books of this type. That was the deciding factor in this purchase. Probably the most often used and useful portion will be the fuel log. This book offers enough space to make over 300 entries in that area. This should be more than adequate and if not I will gladly purchase another one. The fact that it has a hard cover, and an elastic strap (for marking the page) makes it very easy to use. The size fits neatly on the little storage box above the glove box. In short I am impressed and if you are a car guy who likes to keep track of stuff this is the best one I have ever seen. It has a section for logging trips, repairs, and maintenance.

Not an end all, but it will do… It will do
The Auto Log holds no pretensions to glory. It is what it says it is, “An auto log book.” Neat, red lined pages with neat indexing for you to get to particular sections. I bought this because I wanted to start keeping a running log of all my vehicle repairs and oil changes. What I got was an unexpected bonus of also gas consumption and mileage. Now that I am working a security job which takes me several miles from home within a work week, this can help with a few things:1) Gas consumption2) Mileage for work and home3) General repairs and oil changes. Now I am no tax expert, but I am sure being able to keep track of expenses that relate to a job are essential. And if there is no tax benefit angle, just think of it a way to budget for fuel and the events. If you are a real devil for details, a few of these books could be the ticket for you. Mind you, this is a nice hardcover book, but don’t place it in your back pocket, as this can weaken the spine. Still, the Auto Log is a quality made book to store in the glove compartment. I have a weakness for small lil books that I can catalog information on, so I am probably going to get a few more for my wife and for my aged Ford 2002.The one thing I am not too keen on is that you get the impression this is made in the USA, but it is printed in the PRC. For me, that was one of the reasons I knocked out a star. Still, its inexpensive as far as hardcover journals.

Cool book
Use it all the time, great options for what to log. It’s cool I’ve recommended it to a couple friends to help with keeping track of money spent

I Should Have Read the Description More Carefully
Unlike some others, I think the small size is okay. The physical quality seems okay, but I just got it today. However, there are a number of what I consider defects. The Fuel Log section is well organized except that it does not provide a space for price per gallon. Unless you consider a visit to the grocery store a trip, or possibly if you are an outside salesman, the number of pages devoted to Trips is ridiculously excessive. The Repairs section seems reasonable. The Maintenance section is too short. Both the Repairs and the Maintenance sections probably should provide more room for explanation. The Yearly Summary section only covers two years and in fact does not have a place to write the yearly totals. Finally, it would be nice to have a loop to hold a pen or pencil. Given the fact that the alternative products are not well described, I am keeping this log rather than take the time to try other products. However I suggest that the manufacturer read the reviews and modify the product. the field seems wide open for a well described, quality product.

Best log book Ive ever used.
I purchased this log as a birthday gift for my best friend’s Dad who for some reason is way too into auto logging. I will let him review it in his own words:”I’ve been keeping logs on my vehicles for 35 years in regular note pads and this is the first dedicated auto log I’ve ever owned. It makes me wish I had puchased it 35 years ago. After using this log, I realize that is one of my great regrets in life. The features are exemplary. I can log everything needed. I am most excited about the elastic strap around the outside cover that keeps the book shut. It keeps the pages from getting damaged in transit. The size of the log is perfect. It fits handily in my glove box.In conclusion, I could not recommend this more to anybody that is serious about automotive logging.” – Larry C. (Dictated, not read.)

Automotive Maintenance Log
I bought this little booklet to record all the issues for my Tundra and 63 Beetle and this book really comes in handy. A must have for all vehicle owners, because it helps you keep everything in 1 place.

Daphne –
Exactly what I was looking for.Fuel log, trip log, repairs log and maintenance log are under separate tags. Easy to use and not “too much information” in one lineGood quality and compact size
Rushi –
It has mileage, fuel, odometer, maintenance, and basic fields to record for your business. Though the rubber strap is very poorly attached or glued, It torn on my 4th opening. But who cares about it right? Haha
Sagar Subbaiah –
Very good
SABAHAT ALI –
Adequate for record keeping.
