Nine boards, independent play, looks good when done
This is a well-executed kids craft kit that gets out of the way and lets the activity do the work. The concept — poking colored fabric squares into pre-punched foam boards — is intuitive enough that kids can figure it out quickly and work independently without much adult involvement. Nine boards with varied designs gives you good replayability, and the color assortment is bright without looking cheap. Both poke sticks are included, so two kids can work at the same time.”Mess-free” is mostly accurate, though a few loose fabric squares will inevitably end up on the floor — nothing dramatic. The finished pieces hold together well and look genuinely nice displayed on a wall, which matters if you’re going to be staring at them for months. At $17 for nine boards with all supplies included, it’s reasonable value for a screen-free activity that actually holds a kid’s attention.

Fun and Easy Craft, but Expect Little Mess
This poke art craft was a big hit with my child. The concept is simple and easy to follow, which makes it great for kids to do independently with minimal help. It kept my child engaged and excited to complete the project. This turned out super cute as well. The size of it is perfect for kids hands and it’s fun.That said, it can get messy if you’re not careful. The small foam/paper squares can easily scatter and end up all over the table or floor. I’d definitely recommend setting it up on a tray or in a contained space for easier cleanup.Overall, it’s a fun and creative craft that’s easy to use and enjoyable for kids. Just be prepared for a little cleanup afterward.

Pluck pluck pluck moment!
Great family fun with the kiddos. They go pluck pluck pluck and away. Very very color, and easy to do, but does take time and patients. Very good quality as they are reusable. Easily get kids to relieve stress with poke, jab, pluck. Need great hand and eye coordination.

Fun project for kids with a handful of variations (boards). The kit comes with everything you need and more! There are 2 “pokers” so the design could be shared or done together. The boards are sturdy enough for poking kids and the colors are cool luminescent hues. The age range for this is approximately 3-5 years old and adults can participate with the kids, too.

This is an absolute winner!
This is a fabulous craft! No mess, no glue, hands-off for the parent, all you need is a little bowl to hold the little precut paper squares. I’m adding these to my cart to send to everyone I know who has pre-k+ kids!I would recommend at least 4+ with supervision because the little plastic poke stick is pointy, though it’s not sharp.I opened this, set us up on the counter and showed my 4yo one time, just one paper sheet and we’re off and running! Note: my kiddo struggles with beads and other precise crafts but we excelled with this one! It’s fool proof and promotes confidence really easily.I’m about to look up every Creative Kimi product because I am so pleased with this one, wondering what else they make.Maybe I’m late to the game but I’ve never seen these before and it’s fantastic! The colors are great, enough to be creative, not too many to overwhelm. Grab this kit!!

I picked this up to have around for a rainy day, and it was a huge hit! It’s basically a DIY craft that uses fabric and foil to “poke” designs into the boards with lots of different designs, and the best part is that it requires close to no clean-up afterward.The theme is adorable, and the 9-piece set gives you plenty of projects so siblings don’t have to fight over them. It’s great for working on fine motor skills, and it’s intuitive enough that even the younger kids (around 4 or 5) can get the hang of it without constant help from an adult. It feels like a much more “creative” gift than just another toy, and the finished products actually look pretty enough to display. Definitely a solid go-to for birthdays or just a quiet afternoon activity!

I was looking for activities to do with my son on cold or rainy days, and this Kids 9 Piece Poke Art Set was perfect! The kit was super fun and kept my son happily engaged. I loved that it was completely mess free with very easy cleanup. The 9 piece set was the perfect size for an afternoon activity without feeling overwhelming.
