Fun, Creative, and Great for Kids
This foam texture painting kit is a really fun activity set for kids. The textured paper adds a unique 3D effect, and the markers show up well on the surface. There are plenty of sheets included, so kids can experiment without running out too quickly, and the added chains are a cute idea for turning their artwork into keychains or little gifts.The only small downside is that some of the pieces feel a bit lightweight, but everything still works as intended and kept the kids entertained for a long time.Overall, a creative and engaging kit that’s perfect for rainy days, playdates, or gifting!

Cool, quick project. Experiment with texture!
This kit comes with 30 discs/squares/rectangles that are basically condensed sponges. Most have a design already printed on for you to color in, but there are also a decent number of plain/ empty ones for you to design yourself. There are 12 paint pens (which might be permanent on clothes, beware- the paint came off my hands when I scratched it off with soap and water). You color/paint your project, let it dry a few seconds, and then apply a bit of water using the enclosed squeezable water brush. Within seconds the design rises where you watered it. It’s pretty neat to watch! If you work carefully, you can create a drop of contour instead of having the whole thing puff up. (My 10 year old experimented by wetting the whole thing, which is how it became obvious they’re sponges. If not for that, you could see the sponginess peeking out of you water then too much, but otherwise they’re not obviously sponges.) Either way, my 10- to 20- year old kids found this fun and different. I enjoyed them too! You can make a project in less than 5 minutes.

Not as expected
The kit has nice components but it is hard to create a 3D look. Even when being extra careful to only apply water at the center to avoid expanding the entire design, you end up with a fully expanded sponge.

63 piece painting kit for kids…..add water and watch it grow. This is great for a multiple child household. The kit is easy for young children to paint with the enclosed markers. It becomes puffy once you add water. Just overall fun painting craft for those days when your kids can’t go outside.

Okay product. Easy to use, colors do tend to run and can come off on clothes. Kiddo was excited to use. Takes long time for them to dry. Would be good to do outside.

Got a lot of paper with no design
The paint pens are easy to used and it was fun coloring. With all the pictures that it shows, I thought that was what you would get but far from. Got a lot of blank paper. The water pen is difficult to control where you want the water to go and end product doesn’t really look like what I imagined, especially on the bear.
