Helped with cystic acne and hormonal breakouts
I’ve been dealing with cystic acne along my cheeks, jawline, and ears, especially with hormonal changes, and a dermatologist recommended this JOESOEF Skin Care Sulfur Soap. It’s pharmaceutical grade and dermatologist-approved, which gave me confidence to try it.Since using it, my skin has cleared up significantly — it helps reduce inflammation and prevent new breakouts without over-drying. The soap lathers well and the mild sulfur scent is noticeable but not overpowering. I use it daily or every other day, depending on my skin’s needs, and I always moisturize afterward.Effective for cystic and hormonal acneWorks well on cheeks, jawline, ears, or other breakout-prone areasDermatologist-recommended and pharmaceutical gradeMild sulfur scent and good latherCan be slightly dryingOverall:This is a high-quality, effective acne soap. It helped my skin through hormonal changes and cystic breakouts, and I would recommend it for anyone struggling with similar acne issues.

GREAT SOAP RECOMMENDED BY MY DOCTOR!
I first bought this soap from my dermatologist. I love it so much for my face, I bought another from Amazon for in the shower. I have rosacea, but I am in remission and rarely have a flare up. This soap has kept me from having a flare up and it is very comfortable on the skin. It is good for black heads and pimples. I haven’t had a pimple since using it. I highly recommend that you try this soap. It also lasts a long time and gives good suds.

Good for my Rosacea
This has been very helpful for my sensitive Rosacea skin condition. I’ve been worried that I may not like the smell but it is actually a mild smell not very strong and not unpleasant at all.

Good for my skin
I’ve been using this for 2 weeks and can tell a difference in my rosacea & acne already!! It’s a little drying, so if you have sensitive/dry skin, start slowly (ever other night maybe). I use it every evening with my hands after my first cleanse. A little stinky, but you get used o it.

Sulfur Soap
I have oily, acne-prone skin, and this cleanser has worked really well for me. It cleans my skin thoroughly without over-drying or irritating it. The texture feels silky, and since I started using it, I’ve noticed an improvement in my breakouts.

Want consistent clear skin? This is for you!
I have been using this soap for over a year now and I will never ever stop using it. I’ve always had acne prone skin but was able to regulate it with certain products. After getting a micro needle treatment that completely gave me the worst acne I’ve had in years! I tried everything I could and did my research and found this soap. This is the ONLY thing that clears my face and continues to keep it clear. I swear by this! You will not be disappointed.

If you have dry skin, avoid this! Might work for other people.
I’m glad this works for some folks, but ouch – dry skin is a no go. I was wary getting this since it said normal-oily skin on the box, but I broke out with perioral dermatitis from stress and one of the popular dermatologists on Youtube recommended this for the condition. I have a bit of rosacea so even though iI had dry skin, I was in such itchy pain I thought I’d try it – anything to solve this issue! The smell isn’t so bad, if you’ve been to a natural hot springs you know the eggy sulfur smell – but gosh my skin would prickle after using this. Still, it was the dermatitis throwing a fit, not my regular skin, so I thought perhaps it was working whatever magic it had that made a doc recommend it.I only used it on the places I had dermatitis but after a week I had to give up – it had broken my skin barrier all around my mouth and took me about 2 weeks to recover. I hoped dealing with this issue would result in at least the dermatitis going away or lessening but it did nothing.I’m sure it’s fine for folks with an oil issue, but it’s too harsh for dry skin – we’ll have to figure out how to fight this issue another way. So if you are here looking at this product because of the same Youtube recommendation, and have dry skin, skip it – it’s not for us.

It works!
In early 2022, I had a life altering change happen to me which caused a lot of stress, and I broke out with one of the worst hormonal acne break-outs I’ve ever had (hadn’t had acne for almost 7 years so this was very jarring to my self esteem). I didn’t want to automatically take the chemical route to try and cure it, so for months I took vitamins geared towards reduced stress and female hormonal balance hoping the acne would gradually go away. It didn’t.About 5 months after the initial break out, I caved and went to a dermatologist and spent over 300 dollars to get prescription acne medication (the ever so preached about tretinoin and clyndamycin) and it barely did anything. I stopped using them and just continued to wash my face and use minimal ingredient moisturizer, to which some more acne did slightly clear up, but still had a noticeable amount. Then I read about soap containing sulphur, and I decided to give it a try. I tried a different brand first, and it didn’t do anything but dry my face out and it smelled terrible (sulphur, duh). But then I discovered this soap. It doesn’t smell bad nor does it overly dry my skin. Have been using it since December 30th, along with my facial moisturizer that I mentioned, and my acne is 90% gone. It also has improved my overall complexion.I know everyone’s acne is different and caused by different problems, sometimes external or internal. But this soap is worth a try. I will be using this soap from now on!UPDATE::Its now July and I’m still using this soap 6 months later, I have only washed my face with this soap since I discovered it and my face is completely clear. I was surprised to read more reviews that came after mine complaining of a strong sulphur smell – to me, this soap barely smells of sulphur compared to other brands of sulphur soap I’ve tried. Y’all don’t even know how bad the smell could really be lol! I encourage anyone to give it a few months of only washing your face with this!

Soap has a very strong perfume fragrance – especially considering it’s marketed to sensitive/rosacea skin. I can smell the perfume while the bar is still in the packaging. Unlike previous sulfur soaps I’ve purchased, it does not have any sulfur smell. Undetermined whether it’s working as intended.
