Easy to install and easy to use.
The air lift is easy to install as the headline states. took me a while to actually get it installed due to the weather and no garage to do the work in. It’s possible to install without a jack to lift with if your truck is high enough off the ground. I had to tighten the bolts and nuts 3 times after installing, because it was rubbing metal to metal, but that should be expected as hitting bumps will cause what little give there is to actually give. all the bolts and nuts were 9/16th same if you get the air compressor to go with it, which i highly recommend.I did Have one problem and that was after hooking everything up I had air leaking, My fault, I forgot to add thread tape to the points that the hoses attach and after doing that I had no air loss. I let the air pressure sit at 50psi each for a week and then released down to 5psi and had no loss for that time. I loaded up a dump trailer with metal on one side and drove around with the pis higher on that side for a while with no trouble.One thing to note before putting everything together is that you will need more zip ties. I had to use 4 zip ties together to wrap around the frame, and for added security to prevent damage to the zip ties I covered the zip ties with tape after cutting the ends off.Also to note I put on an air compressor for the air lift and the wires are unprotected so if you go that route as well id get wire covers, the type you put over wires in your engine compartment, to protect the wires from rocks and suck to prevent damage and lower upkeep cost. the first time i drove I was on a dirt road and didn’t have that cover and had to fix a broken wire.overall it works great and I would highly recommend

Great instructions made for an easy install. Approximate install time one to two hours, depending on your tools. I have used air lift on past installs and have always been 100% satisfied.

Good Quality and fit nearly as advertised. The 2016 Silverado is a little tight when fitting the assembly on the driver’s side. The instructions don’t totally cover that but it is easy to figure out how to route the threaded U-bolt. Allow about 3 hours to install if you don’t have a lift. A number 10 metric socket will be needed to remove the OEM jounce bumper from the truck. I routed the service lines (mine were stainless steel) to the licence plate attach points (see pg 14 fig.28 C of installation manual). If you use this method you will need to over size the holes in your licence plate and cover. It does make a neat and clean service point.

Ready to Tow a Trailer to Alaska
The Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate Plus for my 2015 Chevy Silverado 1500 was easy to install and provided the suspension needed to pull my trailer to Alaska. I drove the Alaska Hwy without any issues through loose gravel, broken asphalt and potholes. The extra load was hardly noticeable with the air bags filled to 35 psi keeping the truck and trailer level. Recommend installing this product if you intend pulling a trailer of any sort.

Easy install, great product. Well Built
Very easy install. Only a few tools. I have a 2016 Sierra. Use it to pull a 20’ Concession Trialer that is about 8000#’s. Needed help with tongue weight. Haven’t pulled trailer yet but hauled weight in box and they worked flawless. Only complaint is really cold weather truck stiffins up and bags are harder ride,even with recommended 5#’s.

I totally agree with the other reviewer rick! instructions were acceptable had them installed for over 2 months now the do exactly what they are designed to do! fit my 2008 Silverado 1500 pefect added about 20 lbs to each no sag or bottoming out on the fifth wheel trailer anymore going over bumps & bridges if you tow you probably need these the only difference between the ultimate plus kit has stainless braided lines and stainless springcovers and the kit that is cheaper bout 100 bucks does not have the stainless if I would have known I probably would have probably bought the cheaper version I am happy with this product would recommend to anyone and buy again if I needed it

So typed out a whole paragraph and it refreshed and I’m not typing it out again.. key points• easy to install• great quality• instructions were clear• installed in under 2 hours• make sure UBolts are centred or it’ll rub• make sure fittings on top of air bags are tight before installing as you can’t tighten them after installation
