a proper cookie and extraordinarily delicious
this is a proper cookie and tastes delicious. shortbread with pecans. well baked and very fresh and such a great value. a perfect size afternoon coffee or tea or just grabbing a handful whenever you want. That’s what I do a handful of cookies and a movie …… today I received a box loaded with delicious cookies and snacks that will last me a month. many I’ve eaten before and some new to me like this cookie. Amazon brand is spectacular, I’m just over the moon with the fact that for under $25 actually $22 plus change, I have a variety of cookies and treats to last me for a month. I’m only reviewing this cookie because I don’t want to be redundant. honestly if I’d gone to a supermarket it would have cost me $50 or more. All of the cookies that I’ve tasted, so delicious and well put together, I’m so happy…..

A basic Oatmeal Cookie, good for dunking.
These Cookies are nice for dunking in milk, coffee, tea, whatever. They are not real sweet, just firm and crunchy. Handy to have when the mood strikes for something to chew. It’s 12 oz. of your plain Oatmeal Cookie, with no extras, no frills. Not a thick cookie, just basic. Try a quick dunk – doesn’t need a lot of time in a hot liquid before it’s soft.

This would be a 10 star item if only….
I ordered these without scrutiny as an add-on item so I could get to the $25 threshold for free overnight shipping for the primary item I really cared about. At $1.79 I wasn’t expecting much. I was prepared for a measly package of maybe a handful of stale cookies with garbage ingredients, but NO, I was pleasantly surprised. These are fresh and yummy and you get a full 24 cookies of good size for the price. That’s like 1990’s prices! These would be a total homerun IF ONLY they didn’t include High Fructose Corn Syrup in the ingredients. Why, Amazon? Why??? The ingredient list already lists corn syrup, and then the very next ingredient is HIGH FRUCTOSE CORN SYRUP. Why do you need both in the recipe? Corn syrup is sweet enough. Are you really afraid people are going to complain they aren’t sweet enough? People can dust them with sugar at home if that’s really the case, but I doubt it. PLEASE REMOVE THE HIGH FRUCTOSE CORN SYRUP. For me HFC causes inflammation which makes my joints hurt, so I can’t eat a lot of it. For others, it is a weight gain issue. HFC is healthy for no one. One star deducted for the HFC from what would otherwise be a 5 (10!) star product.

Average Cookie
These were okay for the price. Extremely hard and kind of stale tasting. They aren’t too bad if dunked in milk.

Crunchy oatmeal cookies
They taste like the Grandma’s cookies without the icing. Crunchy straight out of of the pack and you don’t have to dunk them long to get a softer texture. Very fresh, convenient and smell like fresh baked oatmeal cookies.

A Decent Middle-Ground Oatmeal Cookie
These land somewhere in the middle—not the best I’ve had, and not the worst. The texture is consistent and they hold up well for dunking, though a few did crumble slightly around the edges. The overall flavor is mild. As someone who considers oatmeal cookies a favorite, I tend to be picky, and the one thing I missed here was the sugar topping. That extra bit of crunch and sweetness usually sets an oatmeal cookie apart, and these skip it entirely.Even without it, the cookie itself is reasonably made and has a uniform bite. They just don’t have a standout quality that makes them memorable, so they’ll likely be more of an occasional option than a go-to.— Curated by Jaded John | #OrderlyCleanDesign
