I Found My HG Lip Balm!
I am very pleased with this lip balm. I have suffered from chronically dry, chapped lips all my life and have been disappointed more often than not with lip products, but remained determined to keep looking for something that works for me. Finally found it!At first I was put off by the dense stick that didn’t have the glide I like. I have very full lips, and appreciate a more emollient application. The product felt very dry and dragged a bit when applying, but a few seconds later, my lips felt dewy, soft and had a nice sheen. What is this sorcery?!I find that this product works best when applied AFTER removing dead skin on dry, chapped lips. I do this by using a damp washcloth (the cheap, rough kind you can get at Walmart) and a little facial cleanser, gently rubbing the lips, then rinse (You don’t want to be too rough otherwise the lips will just form more “scabs” over the more sensitive skin underneath in the form of dry crusty patches on the lips). Apply the lip balm. That’s it. All those fancy lip scrubs and plumpers are nice but not necessary. Also, avoid pulling, tearing and biting off dry skin on the lips because that only exacerbates the chapping, cracking and crustiness.This product works well as a base for lip makeup. Because of my situation, products like heavily pigmented liquid lipsticks wreaked havoc on my lips. Not anymore! I’m very pleased at how smooth and soft this lip balm makes my lips. Knowing that my lip situation isn’t going anywhere (I inherited it from my mom) at least I can now say with confidence that I’ve found my holy grail for my chronic chapped lip situation. Of course I’ll be stockpiling this product because good things always seem to get discontinued.

Great Lip Balm
I have sensitive skin and have learned my lesson that using flavored or scented lip balm can be irritating and drying on my lips. I enjoy the Aquaphor Lip Repair sticks and buy them to keep at work, in my bag and bedside so that I can apply whenever I need them.The product doesn’t last on your lips an extra long time if you’re eating and drinking but I think they’re great for a plain moisturizing lip balm.Don’t forget to hydrate too as dehydration can really dry out your lips!

Excellent Lip Balm and FRAGRANCE FREE!
I’ve been looking for a more effective Lip Balm for quite a while. Burt’s Bees and a few other well known brands didn’t do it for me. They just felt like a layer of grease on my lips that came off quickly and didn’t really prevent them from getting chapped. I searched for a Lip Balm that moisturized and was fragrance free. My dermatologist had recommended Aquaphor products in the past, so I decided to give this a try. I’ve been using it for a couple of weeks and it seems to be doing the job. Matte finish, doesn’t look or feel greasy on my lips, no fragrance, no parabens, and seems to prevent my lips from getting chapped. Finally, exactly what I was looking for!

BEST THING EVER
This is like the best Lip Repair stick. It actually moisturizes your lips, unlike other chapsticks. It also feels clean after, I don’t know, some other ones I tried had a weird residue after, and it was sticky and annoying. For example, my hair would stick to my lips more on the other ones. But Aquaphor is the real deal, cheap and quality.

I saw this was recommended by a dermatologist because apparently the main High Street brands that we get and see they actually strip your lip of all goodness and protection. This stuff really works it’s amazing and you never get dry lips with it but again that’s down to everyone is different so it might work for me. It might not work for someone else but from my experience it’s worked brilliantly and I’m gonna use it from now on
