Great serum with Red Light mask
I got this to use as the only serum before my red light mask, and I’ve been using it for a little while now with great results. I really like the clean ingredients, and that it feels simple and straightforward to use in that step.For context, I’m in my late 30s with oily but not acne prone skin, some fine lines, and skin that isn’t super sensitive, and I’ve tried a lot of mid to higher mid range products. This feels thin but not watery, spreads easily, and sinks in without any greasy film. After it absorbs my face feels soft and just a little bit firmer and bouncier, not tight or sticky.I’ve seen that green tea can pair well with red light, and this has slotted into that role nicely for me. It sits comfortably under my mask without drying out or feeling heavy, and on nights when I layer other serums and moisturizer over it, everything goes on smoothly without pilling or clumping. It feels like a calming, hydrating step rather than something fussy I have to work around.Overall it feels like a very good value for how nicely it applies and how my skin feels afterward, and I’d recommend it to anyone who wants a lightweight calming serum that plays well with a simple routine or a red light setup.

Simple and Effective Soothing Serum
I’m always blown away by how simple and effective this product is. There is no intense smell or sensation during use. It just feels like a moisturizing serum and leaves a mildly tacky and supple texture to the skin. I use it for my easily irritated skin and noticed it layers really well with my other serums.

This is a very beautiful hydrating and truly calming serum. I have very sensitive skin and it will turn bright red. If I do anything to it anytime I feel like my skin is overwhelmed looking irritated or red or really just every day now because it’s part of my routine. I applied this serum. It works beautifully. I love the texture, it’s a little expensive but worth every penny because I’ve never found a serum that works this well. It truly feels like I’m giving my skin a tall drink of water. I have purchased this so many times I lost count.

BOJ gives a real glow not a greasy ‘faux glow’
I ordered this calming green tea serum after using up the small trial size I had from their set.This is a very lightweight serum. I would almost call it an essence. I use this as one of my first steps after cleansing and toning.I have Type 1 Rosacea, and this doesn’t irritate my skin, and it does feel calming to my skin. Does it take away redness?–it may somewhat, but it does help to calm it before I go on to the rest of my skincare.This along with their glow serums give my face that nice healthy glow. Not the greasy or oily ‘faux glow’ that some serums give, but a real healthy glow.I also like their ginseng cleansing oil and their ginseng essence water.BOJ is so gentle – no fragrances – cruelty-fee; just a lovely brand!

Holy Grail!
Such an amazing product. I have super sensitive skin as a red-head and this calms and keeps redness at bay. It sits well under a bb cream or foundation as well because it isn’t oily and settles right in to your skin. A little goes a long way.

Okay, but not miraculous
Neutral feelings towards this serum. I bought it to soothe some postpartum rosacea. It is slightly tacky but is thin, applies smooth, dries quickly, and leaves no sensation. Unscented and the bottle lasted me at least three months. It was soothing but nothing miraculous. I think it kept my rosacea from getting any redder. I will not be repurchasing only because it did not offer anything other than a cooling sensation due to being liquid.
