Amazingly Effective!
This is a life saver! I have 2 shorthaired cats and they shed like crazy, my carpets and furniture always seem to have cat hair on them and it can be a pain to lug the vacuum cleaner out all the time. This was so easy to assemble (took 30 sec) and use and it works super well. The only difficulty I had was that my cats were super interested in it and it was hard to navigate around them! I found it works best to brush with the grain of the carpet or fabric, rather than against. It’s long enough that you don’t have to bend over to use it. Very effective with very little effort, and on carpet/rugs the hair does not stick to the brush so you don’t have to constantly be cleaning it off. Works great!
Works great! Especially on ruggables! I have two types and the one with the double mat (mat/carpet) it helps smooths out the wrinkles the occasionally get. It’s also great before vacuuming and with three black dogs, I have to vacuum at least once a day. My only complaint is that the pole gets loose in sections.

Buy it now! It works very well. I was originally going to buy the brand name rake, but it was twice the price of this one. I was skeptical if even the brand name one worked so buying this off-brand one was a gamble… but it works! The build quality is decent and my carpets are much cleaner now. I may upgrade to the name brand some day but for now, very happy I got this (and can’t believe it took me this long)

I have a whole new dog now!
I bought this to use on my carpet where my mini Aussie stays. It pulled up so much hair! I seriously had enough for a whole other dog! It worked especially well where my vacuum didn’t!

Nice but not as easy as shown
Used this today for the first time and it seems to be a good product. It did clean up the pet hair from our carpets. It is nice that it offers 2 different rake surfaces/options since the side that worked best depended on the surface I was using it on, so there is some flexibility with it. It is nice that the surface heads are solid, and not a brush/teeth type, so the hair doesn’t get caught up inside it and need to be removed by hand. I also like that it came with a hand held comb too so I can have it for places the rake is too big for. Assembly was easy and it is nice that you can adjust the length by how many sections you install. But, it doesn’t work as easily as portrayed in the video. You do have to put some real downward pressure on it and go over surfaces repeatedly to get all the hair. The light pressure quick sweep shown in the video isn’t going to do the trick. The concern with that is that the poll is light weight and I am not sure how well it will hold up long term without bending under the pressure needed to get it to work. Also the end is made of a hard plastic with a hanging loop on it, which will be nice if you want to hang it up when not in use, but it is also where you hand tends to go and it is not the most comfortable surface to hold on to. This works well enough for my needs so I plan on keeping it.
