Perfect product
I. LOVE. This.The noise is little to none, the bit grinds pretty much any small and medium size dog nail and I have used this also on cat nails and it works like a charm.I feel like this dremil isnt tough enough to be using on larger dogs so I would keep this and use this for the smaller ones.The design overall isnt too bad, the weight is great, the battery life id give a 8-10, the power like i said is really only strong enough for small/medium size dogs and cats.

Used for guinea pig nails
I bought this as a filer to help file down my guinea pig’s nails. One of my piggies has black nails and unfortunately I have clipped the quik and caused her to bleed because I can’t tell where it is. I decided to look for a filer/grinder that could help with this task.Upon receiving, the instructions are to hook up to the charger. Cable is included, but not the box. Then I let it charge for about 30 minutes just to see how long it would last to file a couple of nails. It only lasted about 30 seconds before it slowed down, so I let it charge longer this time. There is a light indicator that lets you know when it is done charging because it’ll stop blinking. It took about 2 hours to fully charge. Then I was able to use it with ease and grind my piggy’s nails with no worry of clipping the quik. The battery did not die and was still going even after I finished. It is very fast and not too noisy which is what I wanted. Great battery life after you let it fully charge.I ordered mine in white and the size is just right to hold. It does get a little hot but since I only have guinea pigs, it might get hotter if you’re using it on a larger pet. All in all I would recommend this for pet owners.

Amazing product. My dog HATES having her nails clipped to the point we put it off making it even worst. So I heard about these and decided to try it out. She was a little scared but I followed the instructions and let her get used to the sound and then I started. She did shake at first bud did not jerk away from me once. It was so easy and the nails were nice and smooth afterwards. Wish I had done this sooner. 100% suggest this grinder!

Background: My dog is a 9 year old lab who has always hated having her nails trimmed, but I’ve noticed it has gotten worse with age. I have tried clippers myself with both her and I having extreme anxiety with absolutely no results, usually ending in tears for myself. She has gotten to the point where we would have to bring her to the vet to get her nails trimmed only after she is given trazodone, which still makes it a whole dramatic ordeal because she doesn’t respond to it well even after taking 4 throughout 12 hours per the vet’s instructions. The vet would have to muzzle her and pick her up (70lbs) and put her in a head/leg lock position with me and her dad comforting her. Even then, she would flail and kick her legs. Each nail trim with the vet would result in her being scared and uncomfortable, me being heart broken because I felt like I had no other option, and the vet and assistant(s) stressed for their own safety.Actual Review: We have had this tool for two days. I wanted to slowly introduce it to her, so i set it on the table for a couple of hours, set it on the floor, let her sniff and nudge it with her nose, turned it on and off and on again multiple times and let it run while she examined it. We decided to do one paw a night. First night she did not like it, but was able to let us get a paw done (i would’ve NEVER thought!!) we still had to hold her in a sort of bear hug with me hugging around her hips with her leg in between my arms and paw in my hands. It works easier if you hold the top of the nail while it is on the file to reduce the “wobbling” of the nail on the file. We gave her multiple breaks and treats to keep her motivated and comfortable.Day 2 was almost flawless!!! The other foot we got two nails done in the same positioning as the day prior, she let us do two nails in one go! We then gave her a break and a treat. Then she went and sat on her bed. I went over to her with the tool and was able to sort of hug around her loosely and she let me do the rest of her toes without running away, kicking, or flailing!!!This tool is a blessing and has allowed me to feel like I can make my baby girl comfortable while taking care of her and I am so proud of her for being so brave! The drill is quiet, but does get louder when against the nail. It is very similar to the sound of an electric nail file at a nail salon. The size is perfect to navigate with and the fast speed helps get a nail done quickly. 100/10!!!

This nail tool is exactly what I needed to trim my dog’s nail with less anxiety. They were curious of it which also helped allow them to investigate it before we went to work. The quiet grinding sound with less pressure and shock to the nail makes for quick and easy results. My pups were much happier after using this type of nail tool compared to others. Highly recommend!

My dog hates his nails being cut. At the vet they cut in his flesh and since then it is absolute drama.This nail sharpener is amazing. It is not super silent but the sound isn’t disturbing. I got 3 nails at his front paws done after 5 minutes of letting him getting comfortable with it. Some light pressure is enough.Very very happy with it!!
