Works great on almost 4 month old
In a first time mom and had been trying to use nail clippers to cut my almost 4 month old’s nails. Well after getting him twice by accident I finally caved and bought this because Amazon had it as the overall pick. I just used it for the first time and omg was it worth it. I used the pink disc (for 0-3 months) and tested it on my skin before even touching my boy. It doesn’t irritate skin at all and stops with too much pressure so as to protect the skin. It was super easy to use and take 2 AA batteries. It has a nice little case and the lowest setting wasn’t too much to use on baby nails. The light on the end makes it easy to see the nail and I was able to hold it while breastfeeding and use it easily. It’s super light weight too.

The Baby Nail Trimmer Electric has made trimming my little one’s nails so much easier and less stressful. It’s gentle, quiet, and the different filing heads are perfect for tiny, delicate nails. I love that I don’t have to worry about accidentally nicking their skin like I do with traditional clippers.It’s lightweight and easy to hold, and the built-in light is a nice touch for seeing what you’re doing. The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five is that it goes through batteries fairly quickly. Still, it’s been a huge help in keeping my baby’s nails smooth and safe.

Must Have for New Parents
I thoroughly encourage new parents to get this product. This works much better than manual clip nail kit. It’s lightweight and built in stop when touching skin. Just need to two double A batteries to operate. I also enjoy the 4 different modes available.

Pay the extra $10
I’ve had 3 nail grinders over the years with kids and I was quite surprised this one had such good reviews after I used it a couple of times. But I think your opinion of it comes down to the type of kid you have. This is my first battery powdered grinder. The others I’ve had have been chargeable. It appears that battery powered grinders are slower and are only good for well behaved, cooperative children who enjoy manicures and pedicures. If you, like me, tend to grind the kids nails while they are in some form of WWE hold, you should pay the extra $10 for a chargeable grinder that works much faster. For me this grinder was like trying to file a raccoons nails with a nail file. Hope this helps.
