Highly recommend for off leash walking.
We hike on a farm where Layla can run off leash. I took a different route from our usual and after not seeing her for a short while I started whistling. She didn’t come and the panic began. Without going into all the details of speed walking back to the truck, then back to where I lost her, getting through the gate without letting the cows out and huffing and puffing up a very steep hill while trying to whistle; I found her. We came home, called the neighbor to see which tracking collar he had and ordered the Fi. We have had it for 5 months and it is fantastic. We are in a very rural area but the Fi has never went out of service. The battery lasts for at least a week and she wears it every day. It is rugged and waterproof. Layla is a Vizsla, very active. She runs through woods, fields and creeks and her collar has held up perfectly. It is also interesting to see how far she runs on our walks. I have had to use lost dog mode on several occasions. Her recall has improved tremendously from when she was lost. I think it scared her also. It is very reassuring to be able to start lost dog mode and see exactly where she is at. I am very happy with the quality and performance of the collar.

This is the perfect tracker for your dog! It is gps and has signal nearly everywhere! It works from a cell phone tower signal and has its own phone number. The cost is well worth the peace of mind that it provides to keep my Xena safe as possible. It tracks much more than location. It tracks different things such as how many times for eating, drinking, sleeping, and much more…..

Best money I have spent for peace of mind
We have an Australian Shepard who is very active. U fortunately our 25 acres doesn’t contain her and she continuously left our property and we would have to go looking for her. I found the Fi Series 3 and decided to give it a try. This is the best solution we could have come up with. Now we can rest in peace knowing that we can always find her. I was not sure this would work in the country but it amazing. We set up a safe zone and we get a notification if she leaves it. She is really fast so she can get a distance away before we see she has left. But now we know where she is headed. Best money I have ever spent…..worth every penny. Great app and so easy to set up and use. Very accurate

Dont buy this unless you’re desperate!So many things to mention.First off.. nothing worked the way the instructions indicated. You scan a qr code and a menu screen guides you they the set up. The device that actually tracks your pets location and goes on the collar doors not connect to the collar the way the instructions indicate. It didn’t mention you can get stuck trying to do connect it the wing way as there are 2 ways to insert it. There is only one way it connects.. so confusing.Another problem i ran in to was the collar size. If you make a mistake on the size you can’t order a collar only. You have to buy a whole new set with GPS tracker. I sized mine correctly but the cooler doesn’t fit my pet so be careful.Once you get the collar activated which means getting the base connected to your home Wi-Fi your supposed to be done. My base station would not connect to my wifi So I had to do it manually. Once I was able to get it online… I cannot activate the collar which is required to be touching the base station. After I got everything connected and online and the geofence set. I get alerts saying that the pet has went outside the boundary. Even though the collar is still on the base station charging. Then I get alerts saying that the base station is disconnected. Even though it is connected and the Wi-Fi in the house is still on. So overall I don’t like this product. I haven’t been able to use it outside of the home because I had to go buy a different collar which is by a third party provider and expensive to be fi compatible.. bottom line is they made a proprietary collar and GPS that is nearly impossible to alter to get it to work with your custom collar. If you have your pet’s name or anything else like that on there. I haven’t even tried using customer service cuz I’ve been so frustrated with simply just trying to get this set up. Once I get my replacement collar and I’m able to go drive around to see if my pet is tracking in real time, I’ll provide a second review and update.

My feral girl, Tito with pink fi 3+
We moved our feral cat, Tito to our farm but unfortunately she kept running away. We quickly discovered the ring collar tags do not work well in the country without WiFi. I opted to try Fi 3+, suited her up with a pink collar for some peace of mind after moving her back to our home at the beach. Fi works fairly well, but sometimes looses connection when she’s outside. I’ve found if you turn on lost tracking, it quickly drains battery when she’s outside. However, it is Interesting to track her adventures out exploring. Sometimes past tracking on app isn’t documented and is extremely slow to load. I purchased the standard size Fi 3+ because of the extended battery time. Easy to set up and seems durable to date. Just hope they make some lag time updates that will fix accuracy of locations current and record all past travels. Sometimes it drops off and isn’t available.

Best collar for pets
Excellent collar, You know exactly where your pet is!Battery life after 5 days is at 82%,so lm thinking at least 2 weeks before charging is necessary.Bought large collar and it has a metal buckle which is secure, and as long as your dog is wearing it , its precise location is always visible. Noticed when I took my dog to groomer a few days ago, I freaked out because it showed my dog was near the highway. I called groomer immediately and she reassured me Finn was there and okay. When she called to let me know that he was done, I checked location and it showed him at the groomers location.I think when she removed collar to groom him this is when its location wasn’t accurate , once she put collar back on it solved that issue.Highly recommended

I was excited to try this collar on my foster dog who likes to roam further than he should. After setting up safe zones and following set up instructions, we went for a walk to check how it works. Sure enough, pup took off and disappeared for 20 minutes. The “Lost Mode”, which is supposed track in real time, dis not activate for 4 minutes. When it did, it showed my dog being located in the same spot where the lost mode was activated for the entire duration of him being gone. It only updated his location when he returned and the collar was next to my phone. Absolutely terrible! It defeats the whole purpose of the tracker. To add, cell service was fine. The app was able to track my phone location in real time…just not the collar/dog location. I will be returning the collar.
