I hope I never have to use this in a real emergency, but I bought it just to be prepared in case I ever need it. The kit is compact, well organized, and includes a good variety of tools for outdoor activities or unexpected situations. It feels well thought out and easy to store or carry. I bought this for my 15 yo nephew. He thought it was very cool. His parents put the knife in the kitchen for safety. It seemed to be good quality. Lot lots of gadgets that were fun for him to look at and figure out. It is a little heavy if backpacking.

This 28-in-1 survival kit has a good variety of tools and would be fun for camping or emergencies. However, some of the smaller items feel flimsy and not very durable. It’s a decent gift idea, but don’t expect it to replace professional survival gear.
