Pickles approved
These are rock hard but Pickles is happy to eat them. We’ve tried lots of supplements for gland issues and, while it’s hard to be certain, these seem to be at least as effective as the supplements the vet carries.We are still trying to figure out Pickle’s bum-issues, a past vet suggested that her problem with impacted glands is due to her nub tail. She’s new to my household, so we’re still trying to figure out the cause and the cure – she’s an obsessive butt licker and not so much a scooter so determining whether her lick-motivation is for itching, impaction, entertainment, cleaning, or taste is difficult.About the same time these arrived I started adding psyllium to her food – whether it be the psyllium, the chews, or an unidentified change, she does seem to spend less time and energy on licking her bum. That’s a win in my world and makes these chews worth buying again.I gave it 4 stars rather than 5 for two reasons: one, Pickles’s motivation to lick/not lick are not entirely understood – I think these help, but it’s not super clear; and two, I like crumbling chews up into their food to act as a flavor booster and these are too hard and dry to do that.

Not for my fur baby!
My fur baby started vomitting within minutes after I gave her this med. I didn’t notice an odor with the product. Just not for my pets digestive system.

Love they have listed which bacteria for probiotics are in this and the CFU count. Dogs love these.
I really appreciate that they list which bacteria are in this for the probiotics and the amount of CFUs so you know what kind of supplementation your dogs are getting. I like this is made in the US and has good, easy-to-read ingredients. My dogs gobble these up and think its a treat everyday. My dogs are small so one of the “small dogs” version gets broken in half and each dog gets a half so the jar lasts us a while (30 chews=30 days) and so I think the value is good.

I’m convinced these really work and fast too!
I recently adopted a little guy and for the most part he was healthy. However, a couple of weeks ago he started licking his rear and it was becoming a big issue. Because of a snow/ice storm I knew I couldn’t get him to the vet for several days. Then I realized I had these and had bought them for my senior terrier and decided to give it to pepper. In just a few days the licking stopped and he has been fine ever since. I’m convinced these worked really well. Since pepper is small he only gets half a dose and always eats this before his food. So, it must taste good when your dog looks for it among his food. Breaking it in half is simple as they are firmer than some supplements and very easy to use by putting it in your dog’s food. They smell good too, which leads me to believe they have good ingredients. I admit, the price is a little more than I expected, but so are the results. In my case I avoided having to brave icy roads and pay for a vet visit that makes the price worthwhile.

My kiddo approves, and so do I!
My dog has had healthy and regular bowel movements since she was a puppy, but always needed help with gland expression (her glands are manually expressed every 4-6 weeks). I’ve never tried anal gland support supplements before, but I’m hoping it will help her express her glands on her own! I’m mostly interested in the fiber content of these chews, which can help with stool bulk and help with natural expression. The probiotics are just an added bonus – plus, these include 3 strains of beneficial microbes, which is more than what I see advertised in other products.The chews are fragrant and my dog takes them like a treat. The size of the dose based on the weight chart is very manageable and I find it fitting; the amount I give her in one sitting is not too much. The chews are firm, but not tough, and she appears to chew them with ease. She looks forward to the little routine we’ve created and gets a chew after she finishes her dinner. For reference, there should be a safety seal under the lid.These supplements are made in a cGMP facility in the US and are 3rd party tested, so I feel pretty confident with the quality and continuing to give these to my baby girl. For 30 chews at $29.97 in January 2026, I feel that the price is on the higher side, but still fair. It’s a good value for what you’re getting, and gland-ease does more (in terms of ingredients) than a lot of other anal gland supplements on the market from what I can tell. I’d be willing to order these chews again!
