My dog loves this “treat!”
My dog absolutely loves these! He’s very food motivated, but no matter what I hide his flea medicine in (peanut butter, cheese, meat, etc) he manages to find it and spit it out. This pill pocket makes his flea pill undetectable and he swallows the “treat” whole 😅 this has made giving his monthly pill a breeze! What a relief.

Great for getting my dog to take his pill, but poor packaging
I had struggled getting my dog to take his daily pill until I tried Pill Pockets. Now he eagerly comes to get his pill in the morning when he hears the bag crinkling.Let’s talk about that bag for a moment though. The bag is the reason I’ve deducted a star. I’ve used these for nearly 6 years and at some point in the last few years Greenies decided to cheap out on the ziplock part of the bag. After a while, it will separate from the sides, so the bag no longer seals properly. You’re forced to dump the remaining pill pockets into a different container or use something to clip the bag together. This was a disappointing, unnecessary change.

These are a life savor. My dog thinks it’s a treat. He takes his medicine so easily without fail. I think he likes the cheese flavor best. I’ve bought so many of these and will buy again and again!

Makes pills a high valued treat
My dogs freaking love pill pockets. These are the highest tier treats in my house. I split one in half for my small dogs, and use a whole one for my German Shepard. I find them very soft and if you accidentally stick your fingers in them, they will get under your nails which is a pet peeve of mine lol. The bag often has some broken ones in there or halves and I just use those for the little dogs or mush them together. The texture is very soft and malleable. I do worry about these getting stuck to their teeth since it is so soft so I try to only use them when my dogs need a really high reward or for those pills! (Although if one dog gets a pill, you know all of them are getting one of these. Have to be fair!) I generally stick with the hickory smoke flavor, but went with cheese this time and they might even love it more! When I moved, I found an ancient bag of chicken (?) flavored ones and the dogs didn’t like those quite as much, but that might just have been because they were who knows how old. Those old ones were a bit drier, but still malleable and worked for pills!

These are worth their weight in gold! I had to give my dog some medication at an odd time of day so I couldn’t put it in his dinner and he wolfed the medication down when it was in the pocket with a little bit of spray cheese for good measure!
