My girl loves it, and it kept her busy for a while! She was very focused on sticking the fabric into the holes, and the flowers were pretty. The only downside is that it’s hard to reuse. It’s more of a one-time activity in my opinion.

These are so cute and my kid LOVED these! The variety of colors and shapes that are available are great. It’s easy enough for my 3 year old to figure out and fun enough for my 11 year old to join her. The size of the flowers is perfect and the quality is surprisingly well! I ordered this for my Grandkids. My 6yr old Granddaughter loved it! She has the attention span & enjoys finished products.My 4yr old Grandson is definitely not old enough to grasp this craft, so the recommended age is correct.This will be entertaining for several visits & she’s decided everyone’s getting one for Christmas ornaments.Overall, I’m happy with this cool craft kit. It’s currently $24.99, which seems fair to me.

I loved craft kits when I was a child. Anything that resulted in a “product” after I used it was my top choice for a toy. This craft kit is that type of toy. Poke art is not something I’ve ever tried before but it reminded me of crafts I used to make with Bristol board and tissue paper. This kit, however, is much more sophisticated.The kit comes with the following:-2 butterfly forms-8 flower forms-2 glitter poking sticks-800+ coloured fabric squares-10 wood sticks-1 poking mat-1 material bag-instruction manualThe listing says the kit is for boys and girls from age five to twelve. As the kit is mostly flowers, I think boys might not be as interested in it as girls will be. If there were more “bugs” like ladybugs, dragonflies or bumblebees, boys might want to join in this craft. Judging by my experience with children, I think ages 5 to 10 might be a little more accurate as the craft is very simple and older kids might lose interest once they’ve tried and completed one form. The younger kids will enjoy creating flowers they can present to their parents as gifts or have displayed in the home.It is too bad that the flowers are basically only four in two sizes. Having eight very different flowers would have been more interesting and challenging. The forms can be “undone” as nothing is permanent (i.e. glued) so the kit can be reused several times. The child can change colours and patterns to create different results. I have the kit in my tickle trunk and let my brother’s grandkids play with it while they are visiting. I take photos of the end results for them to keep in case they want to remove the fabric squares and change the form the next time. They enjoyed the kit but the older boy lost interest after doing two or three forms.
