My cats & dog love them
Up-date on my review.They are fantastic.My dog stopped licking her feet and her ears no longer get infections.I’ve seen a significant difference in on with her ears and feet.At one point for a couple of months. Again, her ears got infections, she started licking her feet. I has to order something else.It was awful.They gave her the runs, and she still had the ear and foot problem…I ordered these again ASAPWow, just what a difference it makes.Previous review:Freeze dried, thumb nail size, I was worried my pets would choke on them because they’re freeze dried. My cats & dog apparently love them & they eat them. I do break one in 1/2 for my cats to chew easier.I tasted one, it has about as much taste as a rice cake for humans. Little to no smell. But my cats & dogs love them. Usually my dog has a sensitive stomach to all these chews & gets the runs. But she did not & she’s 10yrs old.I cant honestly say if, or how good they’re doing for their gut. It’s only been a month.But I like the ingredients. & pre & probiotic idea. Freeze dried so they don’t bake/boil or cook out the nutrients during the process.If they made dog food I’d probably try it…

Rock-like Substance
I’ve been feeding this probiotic to my dog for a while now and it’s been working well. However, he does not like to chew these so I grind it into a powder to sprinkle over his food with a marble mortar and pestle. However, this past order I found small rock-like pieces that cannot be ground or crushed. These whole rounds do not seem safe to feed to a dog as-is. If a mortar and pestle can’t fully grind it, I doubt a dog’s teeth (or stomach) can.

Easy for cats to eat
I really like the texture of these probiotics. So many supplements for cats are big chews, and my cats won’t eat them. I bought these because my cat was vomiting occasionally and had hairballs sometimes, and I read probiotics and digestive enzymes could help. My cat actually ate these willingly, but I crush it on his food because it’s easier for me. He is vomiting much less. He’s also eating better. I don’t know if it’s all the probiotics, but I think they helped. They’re a good value.
