My dogs paws are getting softer
I like that this paw cleaner is fragrance free. It is very easy to use and the brush spreads the foam around. Do be careful not to push the pump all the way down or a lot of product comes out. I have been using this on my dogs paws a few times a day for a week and the dry rough spot on my one dog is almost gone now. Most of my dogs were easy and fine from the first use. One of my dogs did not like me messing with her paw so I just gave her a bunch of praise and treats every time she didn’t walk away between paws. Now when I get the bottle she comes right over so she can get her loving and treats. I really like that you don’t have to rinse this off, it makes it easy and quick to keep up on doing daily. My dogs paws haven’t been slipping or anything on my hard floor after I use this cleaner. I think this is a great product if your dogs paws get dried out or if you wanna make sure their paws are clean after going outside.

Easy to use, questionable ingredients
I liked the ease of this product. I was able to control the foam output and there was no mess. The silicone scrubbers are soft and had some bits of residue after using (that wer easy to rinse off in the tap) so I know it did the job. It was nice to scrub on and wipe off with no excess water. The tee tree oil does not leave behind a strong, off-putting scent.However, I have concerns about the company’s marketing claims of being “natural,” “completely safe,” and “non-toxic.” The top ingredients on the label have been known to cause skin irritants and are safe in small doses under certain circumstances. Stating external use only is a fine label warning, but to rub into my dog’s body and then likely have her licking any residue that may be left behind does not make me feel comfortable in recommending this cleaner as a natural and non-toxic product for the masses.

Nice, But Expensive
I decided to try the Protex PawZ No-Rinse Foaming Paw Cleanser for Dogs – Moisturizing, Fragrance-Free with Silicone Brush because I go to the park everyday with my dogs, and their paws get very dirty, not to mention the germs they might pick up; its especially noticeable on my white dog, her feet and legs turn gray. I was wiping their feet with water mixed with a little dog shampoo. I wondered how this would work, would work better, be easier?I used it today, and it’s very easy to use. The foam comes out through the brush attached to the top of the bottle. I scrubbed their paw pads and the tops of their paws, then used a soft microfiber cloth to wipe them off. It didn’t get the top of my little white dog’s paws as white as washing them would, but they were pretty dusty and dirty. I didn’t really notice a fragrance. The dogs haven’t shown any signs of irritation to their paws since. I like that it is made with plant-based ingredients, no sulfates, alcohol, or fragrances, and that it’s supposed to be moisturizing to their pads, per the product page. I also like that it is a no-rinse formula.The reason I probably won’t order it again is because I have 4 dogs, all small – the biggest one weighs 28 lbs – and this is a 5.1 ounce bottle that costs $14.99. It wouldn’t be cost effective for me. I used almost 1/2 the bottle after just 1 trip to the park, and I don’t believe I used too much per paw. I suppose if you only have 1 very small dog, like a Yorkie or Chihuahua, or a similar breed or mixed breed, it would last a lot longer than it will for me.It contains quality ingredients, and the silicone brush is soft and didn’t hurt my pups when I used it on them, but for me, going back to wiping their paws off with warm soapy water, and then wiping again with just water, makes more sense. I haven’t done a cost breakdown, but I think even using disposable pet wipes would be more cost effective for me. I really think it’s a personal preference. It’s a good product, but it’s not for me.

A life saver
We’ve been getting a lot of winter weather where I am from. My complex lays a ton of salt, which my service dog loves to lick off his paws if given the chance. I obviously can’t hose him off every time we go outside. This cleaner has been a life saver. It has cut down of the paw licking and gnawing tremendously. I love how easy to use it is. The brush is very gentle and delicate on their paws. I would suggest letting your dog check it out before you attempt using it. Many dogs struggle with paw work.

Priced too high and has unpleasant smell
I was not very impressed with this product. I could not even test it on my daughter’s dog since the dog is skittish about having her paws touched. So, for the sake of this review, I tested it on a plate. While the pumped worked ok and dispensed foam, I think the odor is rather unpleasant especially since it is listed as unscented. Also, I think it is priced a bit high.

Quick Cleanup After A Walk
I usually use this after I take my dog out for a walk. It’s simple to use, similar to some products you use for carpet cleaning or shoe cleaning. The brush head is soft so I don’t worry wether its too aggressive for my dogs paws and the foam helps clean them. Now is this better than washing your dogs paws with water, probably not, as sometimes when I do use this it will just swirl some dirt around, which is always followed up by a rinse with water. This is good for a quick clean up. My dog seems to not be bothered by the foam, and it is unscented which is great.
