Excellent Dog Food for the Price
Great quality and my dog loves it!I’ve been buying this Purina ONE Chicken & Rice formula for a while now, and I’m really happy with it. The quality is consistent, and my dog enjoys it every time. The kibble size is perfect, and I’ve noticed my dog has good energy levels and a healthy coat.I also like that it’s made with real chicken and doesn’t seem to upset my dog’s stomach. The 40 lb bag lasts a good amount of time, so it’s definitely worth the price.Overall, a reliable and affordable option. I will keep purchasing!

Quality formula
My dog loves this formula. We switched from the Purina puppy and my dog definitely enjoys the tastes. I think it’s a good value and she likes the different flavors. No issues with stomach sensitivity and was an easy transition from her chicken and rice puppy formula

Delivery to door step
Reliable dog food and the Subscribe & Save delivery makes life easierWe’ve been feeding our dog Purina ONE Chicken & Rice for quite a while now and it has been consistently great. Our dog loves the taste and finishes every meal, and we’ve noticed his coat looks healthy and he has good energy throughout the day. What really makes this purchase worth it for us is using Amazon’s Subscribe & Save option. The 44 lb bag is pretty heavy, so having it delivered straight to our doorstep is incredibly convenient. It saves a trip to the store and I never have to worry about running out of dog food unexpectedly.

Good food, good price
Great economically priced food. Good quality. My dogs have eaten this kind for years now and they’ve had no issues. They seem to enjoy it.

My pitbull loves this
I switched my girl to this Purina ONE after her vet suggested trying a chicken and rice formula for her sensitive stomach. She was having some digestive issues with her old food and this has made a huge difference.First thing I noticed is she actually gets excited about meal time now. Before she would kind of pick at her food but with this stuff she cleans her bowl every time. The kibble size seems perfect for her too – not too big, not too small. Her stomach issues cleared up within like two weeks of switching. No more weird digestive problems or upset tummies. She seems way more comfortable after eating now.But the biggest change is her coat. It’s gotten so shiny and soft since we started this food. People keep commenting on how healthy she looks. Even her energy level seems better, though that could just be because her stomach feels better. The ingredients look good too – real chicken is the first ingredient and I can actually pronounce most of the stuff on the list. No weird fillers or mystery meat byproducts.Price is reasonable for the quality. Not the cheapest dog food out there but way more affordable than some of the boutique brands that cost twice as much. The bag size lasts a good amount of time even though she’s a decent sized dog with a good appetite. Easy to store and the bag seals well to keep it fresh.Only minor complaint is that it can be a little dusty when you pour it, but that’s pretty typical for dry kibble.Overall really happy with this food. When you find something that works for your dog’s health and they actually like eating it, you stick with it. Definitely buying again when this bag runs out.Makes me feel good knowing she’s getting good nutrition without breaking the bank.

Grain or no grain?
There is some evidence that some dogs are not doing well on the no-grain diet. I figured rice, as a neutral, usually non-allergenic grain would be ok for my standard poodle and she eats this with no digestive problems. I don’t think she likes it as well as a sweet potato-turkey food (probably has a sweeter taste and my dog loves sweets.) So your dog may not accept this. Nor do I like the kibble–it’s kind of a flaky shape and not a nugget. So will work for tiny dogs that can’t eat big chunks.Seems to be a good food and she is doing well. I’m not sure why ‘no-grain’ has caused problems. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration thinks there may be a link to canine dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM) and certain breeds are more susceptible:RetrieverBoxerChinese Shar-PeiCocker SpanielCollie,DachshundDalmatianLhasa ApsoMiniature SchnauzerSoft Coated Wheaton TerrierSpringer SpanielWest Highland White TerrierIf your dog doesn’t show signs of allergy, then single grain may be the way to go; some vets are opposed to grain-free because of the risk of DCM. No one seems to know why some dogs may have gotten sick on grain-free foods; my guess is that the legumes in some recipes ( peas, chickpeas, lentils, soybeans) have hemagglutinins that affect the blood and cause cardiac issues over time. There were some papers years ago about antibodies in heart patients reacting to hemagglutins (back when I was in grad school for immunology in the seventies) so it’s possible that cardiomyopathy in dogs has a similar etiology. We’ll see.

Purina One
My dogs love this food. Also, the bag is enormous and will last a month, maybe more.Shipping box was beaten up a bit, probably due to the weight of the bag, but the driver retaped it so the bag was in tact and perfectly fine
