The ring pet tag exceeded my expectations. I have two of them for each pup. The metal feels solid and durable, yet its size is lightweight enough that my dog barely notices it. UPDATE: Ring reached out and has replaced our previous tag with a new and longer lasting one. I’m excited to put the new one on my dog and very appreciative of Rings’ great customer service!This item is not durable for an outside pet. The WR code rubbed off in an unreasonable amount of time.

Easy set up
Had a bit of a wait to receive this but once it came it was easy to set up . Just a few easy steps. It was a little tricky too put on his harness , but it’s very light. My dog doesn’t even know it’s there. And the QR code is covered with plastic co it doesn’t get scratched off

High Quality Tag, Best $10 Investment You’ll Make
The tag itself is very nice to have! I see a lot of people in my area use these, so when we got our rescue I immediately purchased one. He’s a basset hound and likes to play rough, and I can confidently say after 6 months the QR code is still in tact and very legible and has held up very well. It’s a universal fit tag and I don’t think you have to have a Ring account to scan the code and get in contact with the owner should your pet run loose (you would just need an account to set it up and get alerts).
