How to connect the Starfit APP with the scale?
1, download Stafit APP and complete registration;
2, click on “Account” and find “My Devices”;
3, click on the “+” in the upper right corner, then click on the “Bluetooth” logo on the page and you will enter the searching for the smart devices.
4, click on the “Bluetooth logo” on the page and it will go to “Searching for the smart devices”. When you find “Runstar-RX”(bluetooth name of scale), click to complete the connection. At this point, please note that a connected logo will appear on the screen of the scale.

Most accurate body fat scale I’ve used
Scale is dead on with body fateasurements and WILL hurt your feelings if you think you’re more healthy than you are, remember that it shows total body fat WITH visceral fat whereas a caliper test only gives you subcutaneous fat measurements (it also breaks down how much of each you have if you read more on the report). Has been extremely useful in tracking my progress. 4.9 stars as the app is very good and easy to use however the units keep reverting back to kg after setting to lbs, just needs software update on that and will be perfect!

Short summary: this scale gives consistent readings that are in line with our other trusted scale.What I like about this Scale:- the user manual has good details, explanations, and pictures to help me figure out how to use all the features this scale has to offer- a 9-step quick user guide is also included- the handle is easy to use, and I like the various metrics (along with weight reading) that are on the screen of the handle.- can be used with, or without, the app.- four AAA batteries are included (the battery compartment is located on the right side of the handle; simply rotate that end in a counter-clockwise manner to open)To use the app:1. I opened the bluetooth function on my phone, then searched for “starfit” app in the Google playstore2. After downloading and installing the app, I opened it.It required me to give an email, and set a password. I had to check the box to agree to their Privacy PolicyI chose my gender, gave my nickname, birthday, height, target weight.I paired the app with my phone, and followed a couple more prompts.I like that it’s very easy to connect to the app and is compatible with my phone.Note: the user manual includes good details on how to use the app in conjunction with the scale.Overall, this quality, sturdy scale gives consistent weight readings and provides useful information – a great way to get some quick insight to my health.

Great Scale but a little overpriced at $169.99
I’ve used quite a few bathroom scales over the years, including another version made by Runstar that I bought at great expense last year. This RunStar Smart Scale has 8 Electrodes and is definitely one of the more advanced ones I’ve tried.What makes this scale stand out is the 8-electrode design with the built in handle, which allows it to measure a wide range of body composition metrics. Honestly it is pretty amazing! Instead of just stepping on the scale and seeing your weight, you also get detailed readings across 28 (!) different metrics, including body fat, muscle mass, and other composition data. The handle sensors help capture upper body readings as well, which is something many basic smart scales don’t do. Pretty cool technology!Here’s some of my thoughts based on:BUILD QUALITY: The scale itself feels solid and well made. The platform is stable, the display is easy to read, and the setup functions are fairly straightforward once you spend a few minutes getting familiar with them. The 400 lb capacity is also helpful since it accommodates a wide range of users – Im not there yet but thats pretty impressive lolPERFORMANCE: From a performance standpoint, the readings appear consistent and the scale responds quickly. For anyone who is tracking health or fitness progress over time, having access to more detailed body composition data can be very helpful compared to using a basic scale.VALUE: The only reason I reduced my rating by one star is the value at the listed review price. I’m reviewing the scale at what I received it – a price of $169.99, and at that price point it is a bit overpriced which hurts it in terms of value. The good news is that the scale is often available for less than that, and at a lower price it becomes a much stronger value – so I would say keep an eye out for a lower price point.Overall, this is a feature-rich smart scale that provides a lot more insight than a standard bathroom scale. If you’re interested in tracking detailed body composition and can find it at a reasonable price, it’s a very capable and impressive device.

Easy to set up and use, with plenty of data
I ordered this RunStar Smart Scale to help keep me on track and motivated in my fitness journey. I found it easy to set up with the app and easy to use.The scale itself seems nicely made and it is very sleek. You step on for the initial weight measurement, then hold the handpiece out from your body for the body composition measurements. The scale speaks to you to tell you how to hold the handpiece and lets you know when it’s finished measuring. The voice isn’t very loud, but you may want to close the door if you don’t want to wake other people in your household.The Starfit app was easy to find in the Play Store and it was very easy to set up and connect to the scale. I was easily able to add it to my Health Connect and Google Fit apps so I can track more metrics. I use an Amazfit smartwatch, but it doesn’t integrate directly to that, although its Zepp app does integrate to Google Fit, so I can track my exercise and body composition there, if needed. I did find the Starfit app provided a lot of useful data on body composition, as well as charts so you can track your progress.I can’t really speak to the accuracy of the information as I don’t have a direct comparison, but it seems to track with my current Eufy scale.Overall, I think this is a great scale that’s easy to use and provides a lot of data on body composition. I think the price of just under $170 seems comparable to other similar scales.
