Loud and Effective
Really loud. Easy to use. Bring it on walks with me to scare away coyotes. Works every time, although it startles the heck out of my dog and me.

I can’t believe how LOUD this is!
It says that it’s 122 DB……I highly doubt that, I think it’s much louder than that! A cheap hand pump air horn was listed as 130db, for kids parties. That doesn’t seem right. I bought this to break up fights between my two very large grandpups, and I think it will definitely do that. I’m going to keep a pair of ear plugs with it, though. I set off a small test blast in the house….even my husband, who can’t hear a smoke alarm 5 feet away, heard this in the other room. I won’t use the language he used, but essentially, what the neck wss that????!!!! I was turned away from it, holding it around the corner of the door, and my ear rang and was numb for 15 minutes. I’ve had people blast an air horn behind me, and it was no way this loud. A very mighty little horn. If you need VERY LOUD air horn I highly recommend this! Will definitely buy the refill for this when needed. Highly recommend for camping. Definitely wear ear plugs when using!

Nice size, works well
Small and easy to keep around the house or carry. I have a dog that started attacking one of our other dogs and this is a way to separate them without getting in the middle and potentially getting hurt. It’s a nice size to keep around the house.

So loud!
I ordered these the day after I spotted a bobcat in my back yard. I keep one by each door now so if I spot one again, I can scare it off. One of the things I read about bobcats is make lots of noise….let them know they are not welcome. Well…..this will definitely do the trick. It hurts my ears. But….worth it for a second or two. I’ve scared some woodchucks off with it too. The cans are very small. I have no idea how long they will last. I hope it’s not when I really need it….lol

Like a Banshee or Screeching Tires
It works well, no leaks, and very loud. But, the horn is so short that the sound is very high pitched (like tires peeling out), and the sound begins too close to one’s ear. Is the screwable horn interchangeable? Idk, but it rimgs my ears louder than my plug in 130 DB electric horn, due to the size. Because of this, I can’t keep it near my bed for security without ear protection. Instead, i have a cheap pump horn with a long cone that is just as effective. Btw, it arrived packed with zero packing filler, so everything was banging around in there. I’m surprised there was no damage.

Small but mighty
Me, my baby (in a stroller), and my dog got attacked on our walk the other day by a dog who escaped its backyard. I got bit trying to separate them. Now I have this with me (and pepper spray) on our walks. It’s the perfect mini sized air horn that I hope will be a good first line of defense. I heard that the noise will distract or scare the dogs into letting go if they are fighting.
