Cute and Pretty Mess Free
I love these self-contained craft kits for day that my daughter is off of school. I can just hadn’t them to her and everything she needs is included. This one is fun and could be shared among a few kids since there are multiple discs. She is 7 and did not need much guidance. Younger kids might need a little help but it is an easy one.

Cute idea but doesn’t work
Unfortunately, the airdry clay that is needed for these came dried out. They provide 12 colors of clay in small individual packets. Only one was in great condition. The other 11 had packing that was puffed up. When opened, 4 colors were completely dried out. The other 7 were somewhat useable- you could squish them a little to make them into a shape but the would not stick to the disc or other colorsI am very disappointed because the kit is super cute and would be easy for kids to do independently.

Fun Activity Set
This is a great arts and crafts activity set to have on hand for a rainy day or when you need to keep the kids entertained for an hour of so. The kit comes with everything needed to create fun little projects. I like that they include pictures kids can copy or use as ideas to get started and then they can let their imagination run wild. The quality of some of the items is a little iffy, but I picked it up when it was on sale for less than $10 and at that price, I didn’t expect everything to be top tier. Some of the clay packets were a little drier than others, but the kids easily adapted and used what they liked and that worked well for them. It was fun see what they came up with, and I even had fun joining in a little too.

Not as fun as expected
My kids ( 3 and 5 yo) liked it but somehow it didn’t hold their attention for too long. The kit comes with so many colorful clays and sooo many accessories, it should foster kids creativity and I think this kit is quite unie. However, my kids didn’t know how to make the “caps” and kept asking for my help, and the clay was a bit hard for them to use so they moved one to a different activity rather quickly. We usually love skillmatics and constantly repurchase their craft kits but I will not be repurchasing this one for now, maybe will try it again once the kids are a bit older and can have more fun making these cute crafts. Overall great value and could make a nice gift.

Fun but overpriced for what you get
This is a fun activity if you don’t have a lot of craft supplies already. But if your home is already filled with art supplies there’s not a lot of value in this. I would recommend this as a gift for someone who maybe loves to make crafts while on vacation so that they have everything they need on the ready. A lot of the things like feathers, googly eyes, and markers, most kids families already have at home, for you are really just paying for the clay which is a bit overpriced. Still I think this is a decent gift and both boys and girls can enjoy it.

I ordered this for my daughter who loves any kind of crafting, these are her observations: This craft kit is a simple but fun and creative activity. I got this for a rainy-day project to exercise my creativity and it entertained me for hours, even though it is clearly designed for children. It comes with so many different bits like feathers, clay, gems, buttons, pens, and googly eyes, which means you can run wild with your imagination and create lots of different things. I like that it is relatively mess-free, so if a child were to play with it, there are no glue or paint spills to worry about. The kit and materials are well made, the instructions are clear and it’s great for kids and adults of all skill levels to either follow the suggested designs or come up with your own. The finished pieces are a fun and colourful art project which would be great for children to give as gifts.I would recommend this for parents, teachers, or anyone looking for a fun and creative screen-free and hands-on activity. It’s a great way to nurture creativity and have fun at the same time!

So disappointed. We brought this as a Christmas present in December and when we came to use it today all the air dry clay packets are blown and the clay is dry. Useless and cannot do anything with it. Didn’t think 4 months isa long time to use a craft set. Skillmatics is usually really good.

A cool rainy day kit to keep for the unexpected event or to give as a gift. Its good that all you need is included and there are plenty of bits for the price.Considering it contains clays perhaps a use by date and date of manufacture on the box would be useful to help you keep track.The other question is what do you do with your creation? more clutter, some stick on magnets would have been a good idea so you could make fridge or radiator magnets.I seemed to be lucky with our clays all being usable but I gather its not everyone’s experience, being a clay, often you can work a few drops at a time of water into it to restore it, if its not too far gone. But I have not tried it myself, I just know I have got away with it in the past on other products.Its good to get something a bit different that is not electronic and requires some dexterity and social interaction for a change.
