problem solved! my small sometimes wet dog sits on the back of a recliner I usialy sit on to read,this item replaced the fleece throw I put up there for her comfort, it often slipped around, this doesn’t and drys her off, when she has been outside on a rainy day. it stays in place, and is nice looking too! glad I bought it, it works well for me!

Great rug
Love this rug. It catches so.muvh dirt and debris. Also helps kind of dry off my dog’s feet. Doesn’t slip around a lot on my hardwood floors. It’s nice and soft. It also fits under doors so it works great in my mud room. I will be buying another for my other entry way.

Worth every penny
I have 5 dogs and this rug is absolutely amazing. It traps dirt really well. It’s light weight. Very soft. I have a 80 pound dog and 5 pound dog they run in and out the dog door all day and the grip on this rug stays put.

economical door mat
I ordered the Smiry Dog Door Mat for Muddy Paws, Absorbent Dirt Trapper Non Slip Quick Dry Washable Chenille Mat for Mud Dogs, Entry Rug for Indoor and Outdoor (36×24 Inches, Navy Blue and White) to use at the back door of my house. The space is covered but open on all sides. I like the colors of this door mat. The blue is bright and the white paw stands out clearly. The chenille is soft and shakes out easily. The backing on the rug keeps it in place. We use the back door many times each day and the mat stays put. I washed the Smiry Dog Door Mat in a front loading washing machine with medium spin and line dried it. It came out fine. However, it did take a day and a half to dry. The quality of the Smiry Dog Door Mat is okay. The chenille pile is a bit thin and flattens quickly. Still, the Smiry Dog Door Mat is an economical door mat that’s colorful and cute.

I started using this mat years ago for muddy paws with my last dog. With our new dog I have one at the back landing for paws and one on her favourite spot. She has occasional small accidents so I have the mat down to protect the furniture. They wash up really nicely, tumble dry low for a few minutes and hang to finish drying. The mats have excellent absorption whether it’s wet and muddy paws or a small accident – underneath the mat is dry. This is worth the money.
