Soft, warm, water resistant
Nice blanket. It’s got a little heft, so it’s not going to just flap around in a light breeze at the ball game. Or easily blow away if using as a picnic blanket.The fleece is light to medium weight and has a nice fluffy feel. The fleece layer attaches to the shell layer around the edges, but you can gather it up and wrap it around you a little inside the shell.The shell sheds off waters and doesn’t leak around the seams. So the inside layer still stays dry even as water runs off the outer seam.This blanket provides more warmth than my straight up medium weight fleece blanket. There must be some kind of thermal layer inside the waterproof shell that retains heat.Its large enough to spread out and eat a picnic on. Also large enough for my wife and I to cuddle under and keep warm.I didn’t notice any “static” like previous reviewer. Right out of the box, they waterproof layer side isn’t silent. It sounds like some kind of nylon. Its not “crinkly” sounding. Think more along the lines of a waterproof nylon rain coat shell.

Quality Blanket for many uses
This is really a nice blanket that can be useful in many indoor and outdoor situations. I have only had it for a short time so far and have had several family members check out the blanket for their feedback as well during this time.My wife, daughter and myself all came to the same conclusions:Very warmFleece side is really comfortableWell made (appears to be heavy duty)Seems to be a little weighted (in a good way)Does not make much noiseBlocks the wind.My daughter commented to me “Dude, this blanket is really warm!”Have not tested the waterproofness, so can’t comment on that but it certainly looks like it would do the job.The storage bag and strap are nice. I had no trouble putting blanket back in bag as a few reviewers mentioned they did. Just take note on how you initially took blanket out of the bag and fold and roll the same way (pretty easy to figure out). Having additional handle on end of storage bag would be nice for removing blanket from bag, but that is minor.We have several outdoor blankets that we keep in our cars and this one is now our new favorite. Overall, perfect for watching kids outdoor sporting events, great ground cover for laying on ground, plan to use it as additional layer in tent under sleeping bags when fall camping. It is perfect to keep in a car. I would highly recommend to others and certainly purchase again for uses mentioned above. Oh, by the way our cat enjoyed blanket as well 🙂

Suited nomad outdoor waterproof blanket
I really like this blanket. I am outside a lot and the waterproof side seems to work really well. The inside is soft and warm. It is large enough for me to wrap up in. It is a fairly heavy blanket so it feels good when used as a blanket and is comfortable when it is used as a ground cloth to sit or lay on. It rolls up and goes back in the stuff sack really easy.I have only used it a month but the quality seems really good. It did have an odor to start with but that went away in about a day. I left it in the sun for a few hours.

Best money I spent on an all weather blanket
For those that had a problem with a “smell” I’m sure you never left the house never mind camping or tailgating. The box it came in smelled more then the blanket.I have only used it once and that was when it got cool out the other night and then it started to rain, I knew it would be a quick shower and we (my Wife and I) didn’t want to go in as we were sitting talking to a group of friends. I must say even though it was not that cold out the blanket was more then what we needed, it was quite warm. The rain did pick up a bit and a few of the people I was with did end up goin in, the others had umbrellas and one couple even had some of those “emergency ponchos”. I will say we were just as dry as they were but the wind never touched us.I purchased this mostly to keep in my jeep as the winters can get bad here in NE and I have a long drive to work. I wanted something if I did get stuck that would work in all weather conditions. I can tell you that it will be used a lot more then just for emergencies and I have already ordered a second one.It is not stiff or noisy to any point to notice, has a very nice weight to it so “cuddles” to you but not heavy but not a silk sheet (for you wimps).Unlike most camping type gear this was so easy to fold and put back into its bag with room for me to put it, a 5 pack of emergency ponchos, emergency tent and 2 Mylar blankets, fire steel and other emergency supplies and I still have some room.Please don’t judge me on my outdated love seat.. lol

Easy to Put Back in Case
This blanket is large and warm. I’ve used it for football games. What surprised me the most was I was able to get it back into the carrying case. The strap which goes around the roll is very helpful.

Awesome blanket!
I love this blanket! When I first opened the box I thought the small size of the bag was a bit disappointing but after opening the carry bag and opening the blanket I’ve found that it’s worth every penny.Not only is it waterproof but the Sherpa side is so soft and comfortable. You can’t go wrong with this item.

Warm & waterproof!
I bought this blanket for football season & was happy with how warm it was … several months later we just spent the entire day at an outdoor basketball tournament where it didn’t just rain for hours but it poured several times … i used the blanket to cover the wagon holding our belongings … it was in the rain for hours and kept everything dry!!! I’m so impressed!

I bought this blanket to cover my legs, when I am in my wheelchair during the spring, winter and fall. I needed something the wind, rain and snow would not go through. The thermal reflective inner layer is great for reflecting body heat back to the wearer, it made a big difference. So much so, that I found, I could not use the blanket indoors. This blanket made winter much more enjoyable this year!It even came with a strap to keep the blanket rolled-up and a bag to keep it clean between uses. When it gets dirty, toss it in the washer. It washes easily. This has definitely been one of my best purchases. ☺️

This arrived when it was supposed to. It is a nice big blanket, kept out the wind at our grandson’s baseball game. It rolled up well and easy to get back into the bag. My only complaint is that the flannel side and the windbreaker/waterproof side are only joined around the edges of the blanket, it would be nice if they had been sewn together throughout the whole blanket.
