Hello, humans! I’m Merlin, your friendly neighborhood tuxedo cat, and I have a very important review to share. I just have to tell you about these Temptations MixUps Catnip Fever Flavor Crunchy and Soft Cat Treats—they are everything.When the lid opens, I can’t help myself. The smell hits my nose, and suddenly, I’m a cat on a mission. The crunchy ones are amazing, and I can’t stop munching on them, but then—oh, then—the soft ones come in and make me forget all about the crunchy ones. They’re so soft and delicious that I’ll do anything to get my paws on them. I mean, I’ve been known to sit up on my hind legs, give my best “sad kitty” look, and even perform a few tricks just to get more of these treats.I’ve got to admit, there’s something about the catnip flavor that makes me feel a little wild. It’s like a party in my mouth every time I get one. I’m practically bouncing off the walls with excitement! (Okay, maybe I do a few zoomies around the house, but can you blame me? The treats are THAT good.)The 30 oz. tub is the perfect size. It’s big enough to last me a while (which I suppose is a good thing for my humans, since they don’t have to keep replenishing it), but it’s also small enough for me to sniff out and paw at every chance I get. Convenient & Apparently Tasty, But Prone To Becoming Stale
I buy the big containers of the Temptations treats to split between my cat and my mother’s cats. They all seem to really love them. Simply picking up the container causes them to jump up and come running. At my mom’s, I usually scatter them on the floor so they all get to enjoy them at the same time (if I feed them one at a time, they get jealous of each other and act like I skipped them 😂).At my house, I have to feed my cat on the picnic table . . . because my dog seems to really enjoy them, too. These treats seem to be really good quality. They are crunchy on the outside and a little softer on the inside. They also don’t smell nearly as bad as the moist, juicy treats, which I definitely don’t hate.The biggest complaint I have is that although the big containers are much cheaper and easy to open/close, they don’t stay fresh as well as the smaller packets. They aren’t sealed airtight, which is an issue when they don’t get used fast enough (they lose some scent & sound like they aren’t as crunchy). That’s a big part of why I take half of them to my mother’s cats and keep the rest of the container for my own. If they had an easy-open, but airtight container . . . or better yet, if the container was divided into two airtight compartments, I think they would stay fresh longer.

These treats are super expensive compared to the packs you purchase in supermarkets locally. However, this combination of treat flavours are insanely popular with both our cats and we have to seriously ration them. We get the whole standing on hinds and clawing at your hands thing!Would definitely buy again and recommend to someone with fussy eaters.
