Great product but container too large for contents
Great product and my cats like the taste. My only complaint is that the product when new only fills up about the lower 5th of the container, so the rest of the container is just wasted plastic. I would rather have a much smaller container that doesn’t use up so much plastic to make. I think it’s to account for the scooping spoon inside, but they could still make the container smaller, and the spoon would still fit nicely inside. The way it is now the spoon falls over and gets covered in the product so you have to dig the spoon out of the product each time you use it.

This Product stopped my cat from shedding hair all over.
I don’t usually write reviews but I’ve decided to do this, for this product, if only to let others know the positive outcome of my using this product for my cat, as I am skeptical of all ads and their claims. In the case of this product, My cat, who is over 21 yrs. old, had been shedding his hair and it was getting worse, more and more as time went along. I purchased and put it in his food every morning, and although a finicky eater, he tasted it and never shied away from eating his food. Within a week i noticed less hair being shed. I continued until the bottle finished and he was not shedding anymore. It took me 3 weeks to reorder and guess what, the shedding had begun again. I immediately reordered, and to no surprise, his shedding has stopped. My cat and I thanks you for this product, as cleaning up those hair was getting to me. Thanks Ultimate Pet.

The item came in a 3 inch high container X 2.75 inch wide. I was expecting a much larger container, from the pictures I seen. The enclosed scoop is 1/2 inches in diameter and 5/8 inches high. One scoop a day, 30 scoops for per container.$44.99 per container or $40.49 subscribe and save. At $1.50 to $1.35 per scoop or day as the case may be. The price goes up if the pet is over 30 Lbs. It all comes back to whether my cat eats it or not. If not it is a moot point.Taste?: My 3 Lb – 17 year old cat ate the first bowl I prepared. But turned away from the 2nd bowl. And 4 hours later is still turning away from it. The first bowl had Salmon Oil in the mix, the Second bowl did not, but added 1/2 teaspoon of salmon oil at 4-hours. I will leave it on the floor to see if she will eat it later.Smell was of like the powdered greens I use for myself. The warning has me concerned! Is this for over dose by a human child or the pet?Vitamin content?: I have only the label to go by! Wild cats and dogs and their ancestor got vitamins and greens by eating the intestines of the animas that grazed on grass and wild grains, and broke these down in their guts for their pray to consume. Can the cats and dogs digest the ingredients in this form? How do us non-scientists know if this is taking place?I think the Pain relief and Coat shine will have to wait until my cat has survived the first 30 days at least.Buyer be ware the picture in the Amazon add is misleading!

NutraThrive has been part of my pet’s diet for about 3 years. Even at 11, Millicent the cat is faster than a speeding bullet and able to jump tall buildings in a single bound. That’s an exaggeration of course, but she is very active and agile. No arthritis, digestive or kidney or bladder issues. She likes the taste and waits until it’s added to her food before beginning to eat. She gets about half the recommended amount once a day. I sprinkle it on her dry food.
